View Full Version : Will this work for mini ubers and uber trist?

Ok so I almost fully leveled my ladder smiter and I want to know if you think he will work. And if you have any cheap suggestions.
Gear:
viper 29 res/rattle cage for cb
atlantean
set helm 1 to all skills (looking for guils)
1 to pally skills ammy
Zakuram spirit
dracs
gores
crappy rings
life tap wand on switch
res charms

Stats:
154
139
297
base

defense about 10k and 1.5k life with bo

I will proabaly doing with my friend who will use a lite sorc with pretty good gear with a 1bo cta (gets about lvl 6bo) he will basically be there for bo and static.
So if you can give me any advice or anything thanks.

Tell him not to bother static,it doesn't seem to work in tristram.Well, mephi at least is totally immune to it.

You seriously need more resist. Otherwise, it should be ok. Get a resist ring and ammy. Also, you need a ravenfrost for CBF.

About static - The reason it doesn't seem to work is because of enemy's resists, if I'm not mistaken. The ubers are all 95% resist to all elements, I think, and when static only knocks off 1/4 or whatever of their health, when that's reduced to 1/20 effectiveness, that's 1/80 of their health each casting... their remaining health, that is. Not very effective.

Actually mephisto is 120% immune to lightning I think...Static has absolutely no effect on him.

Their resist is on arreat summit. As far as I know, the Ubers have at least 1 immunity each, but none of them has 95 all resist (DClone is not an uber).

Problem sovled friend is quiting giving me stuff now I got btorch grief and 5bo cta and maybe a fort not sure yet.

My paladin had 1850 life (without bo) and all resist 64 after Mephisto's conviction. He killed me in one hit.

Was it his bolts or his blizzard?

My paladin had 1850 life (without bo) and all resist 64 after Mephisto's conviction. He killed me in one hit.It's probably lag, or maybe he blizzed you. My pally only has 1.4k life and he survives fine. In fact, his life never goes below 1/2.

I didnt see a blizzard. The weird part is that I fought him a while and every time he hit me i lost around 1/3 or 1/4 of my total life. I got my life back after each smite because I have exile and life tap was active. Then suddenly one hit from him and I was dead. How powerful is the blizzard anyways ? I had all resist 64 (after his conviction) and a ravenfrost.

Sounds like Lagisto is at his work again. He doesn't use Blizz if you are in melee range, as far as I know.
