4 Sockets / Stone?

Hi all ... I found a four sockets Armor the other day and when I went thru my rune stock; I figured out the only thing I could aford is "Stone". Is it anygood for merc? if so, in what order should i put the rune? Clockwise or the other way around? (Starting with the upper-left socket first I guess!?) Many Tx. (Sorry about these quadripled thread; I guess either I mess up or the net :lipsrsealed: )

Yeah, it's a pretty good Armour for any Mercenary. Also good for Defense/FHR reliant builds... like Werebears.

It doesn't matter where your pointer hovers. You can hover your pointer over any of those holes and click, and it'll systematically place them anyway. As long as you place the Runes in the correct order for Stone (Shael + Um + Pul + Lum), it will end up a Stone.

In other words, click Shael, drop into Armour. Click Um, drop into Armour, etc. Doesn't matter which socket your pointer is aiming at.

If your armor is meant to be used by your merc, you'd better look for an ethereal armor, since they have 50% more defense and mercs don't use durability, then try your luck with the cube formula and pray for 4 sockets. You'll gain another 50% more defense :thumbsup: !

For example : I have a 4-sockets ethereal wyrmhide with 1026 base defense this way :grin:.

If you get 3os, then you can make Duress (Shael + Um + Thul) which is also a really good armor.
