Tried the search thing but doesnt seem to be working....

Since traps are treated as minions, does wearing a natures peace RIP the corpses when all kills are made by my traps?

My softcore Light/sentry trapper with enigma and merc wearing infinity kills stuff so well when on Nihlathak key runs i have never worn a Natures peace. Once in a while i get nailed by a light immune Nihlathak, but its rare enough i dont really care.

BUT-- now i am working on a hardcore light/sentry trapper and now it really matters since 1 death will be too many. Also playing untwinked, so no teleporting or infinity. I might be able to survive 1 of his CE's - but i highly doubt I would survive 2 blasts.

I basically plan to throw traps light/sentry from around the corner and wait till everything stops firing and then slowly advance in throwing more traps ahead till i know room is clear -- but if those bodies on the ground start popping i will be in trouble....

Thanks in advance....

Why not use Death Sentry, blow up the corpses before Nihlathak can?

Well... death sentry only tries to CE when a monster is in its range -- it doesnt blow all the corpses -- Generally death sentry will kill nihlathak (if he is light immune) for me but every once in a while he will teleport off to some corner and it may be too late when i realize this.

In softcore, no biggie I take a death, exit the game and try again on next run. I am trying to figure this out for hardcore since I don't have the luxury of second chances.

Question still remains -- does a trapper wearing natures peace RIP all the bodies that are killed by the traps? Hope someone can help me with this question... Thanks

1) If you have a small death sentry range, that is true. I max the skill on my Nihl running kicker - same should be true on a trapper. If you are still having trouble with this, throw your shadow in a few times to clear out the bodies and stay out of range yourself. Placing traps as far in as possible helps as well.

Otherwise, I'd suggest killing Nihl first. With a trapper, that's more difficult to accomplish.

2) Traps are minions - nothing but MF and +skills (for damage) transfers from your equipment to the traps.
