Because Pally shields have %ED on them are %ED/+Max jewels still bugged when they go into pally shields?

Either the ed% or the +max dam (cant remeber which one) from both ed%max and ed%min jewles is not aplied to the damage due to some mistakes on the game code, thus at the end you get more damage from a plain ed% jewel. On weapons this doesnt happend, though

I have a 30%ED + 15Max Jewel, which I think is not bad. So according to this bug, it is actually useless, right?

%ed/IAS jewels are bugfree.

%ed is only applied to mindmg for %ed/max jewels and to maxdmg for %ed/min ones. They aren't bugged in weapons.

IMO it's not worth it to put %ed jewels into armor (except for bowazons and WW barbs) because characters normally get enough off-weapon %ed from stats, skills, auras, other equipment etc. Therefore paladin shields with res are more useful than those with +ar/%ed, except perhaps in LLD.

IAS jewels works fine along with %ed in any item

what about ias jewels?Plain IAS and ED/IAS jewels work fine in non-weapon sockets.
