Best merc for a Zealer

i would like some advice on what kind of merc i should have around my zealer, the char is doing well, im just a bit bored, and like to see what would be some godly stuff on a merc

do what everyone else does, go to nightmare act 2 and get a merc form there, holy freeze aura is what it comes with and its nasty.

just to start things off, the question starts with what do you need most? damage means a might merc, crowd control means holy freeze, etc...

as for gear, pride runword would prob be cool (giving you your fanat aura, mercs might aura, and the wepons conv aura all stacking on top of eachother). since you said godly, i would say andy's visage (to add to mercs might and conviction and give LL) and glitched fort runeword. there are too many combos to list em all so this is just my 2cents. :soapbox:

My pvm zealer uses a nightmare act 2 merc with might aura. I think that the best weapon for that would be doom cryptic axe. Either that or insight. Insight deals good dmg and gives meditation which is extremely useful in parties. MY merc uses bramble because its cheap and has good aura, thorns. Lvl 18 deals over 700% dmg back. As for helm, corwn of thieves or tals mask for the poor, andys, gaze, or even coa for the wealthy
