1. In order to craft a +2 all -insert specific character- amulets, I'll need to craft it on a lvl 90+ character.
2. In order to gamble a +2 all -insert specific character- circlets, I'll need to gamble with a lvl 90+ character.
3. Higher level crafter means a better % to get higher fixed properties.
4. Extra levels even after hitting the necessary lvl for certain prefix/etc, would result to better % of getting a good roll.
True or false? :hide:
I have a good idea about most of them, but I'm a bit confused with the 1st. question. :soapbox: As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.
1) false. For crafting +2skills amu you need resulting ilvl>=90.
resulting ilvl=int(ilvl/2)+int(clvl/2)
(ilvl - item level of the amulet used in cube, clvl - character level)
If you use amulet dropped by Baal (ilvl 99), you need only 82 lvl character.
If you gamble the amulets, gambled amulet have random ilvl from clvl-5 to clvl+4.
If you gamble with lvl 93 character, all amulets crafted with the same character will have ilvl at least 90 - so all of them are able to have +2 skill suffix (that doesn't mean that +2 skill is granted, only that it is possible)
2) false, lvl87 character is sufficient for gambling circlets being able to have +2skills
3) false, higher lvl gives you only access to higher affixes, once you have the sufficient level, the chance is still the same (or even lower as more higher affixes become available)
4) false, same as 3)
Explanation of affix selection:
Let's say we have only three affixes for amulets with affix level 1, 5, 10. If the ilvl is 1, only available affixes are those with alvl<=ilvl. Thus only the first affix can be selected. If the ilvl=6 first two affixes can be selected, each with odds 1:2 (let's say that they have the same frequency). As soon as ilvl >=10, all three affixes become available with odds 1:3.

EDIT: Probably you meant something different in question 3. Fixed properties of the craft are allways random.

Only if you gamble Coronets. For Circlets you need a lvl 92 character to guarantee an alvl of 90+. (92-5(worst possible roll)+3(magic level)=90).
About questions 3 and 4:
For all crafting, most important is that you should try to always get the resulting item level to at least 71, because that will guarantee 4 random affixes.
(Unless you desperately need the item earlier in the game, of course...)

Ahhh, yes, my mistake, it's ilvl 87 for Circlets that are able to have +2 skills, so you are right, character has to be lvl92 for gambling them. Thanks for correcting me.
