was thinking of making this build out of spare gear.

2x spirit (shield being nice res) total 65+fcr
vipermagi (33+ res)
peasants crown
pala amu
mage fists
nightsmoke (or something better?)
1x soj if i can afford it, but prob something else
1x fcr ring
hotspurs

so that gives me 125 fcr, 8 plus skills, nice res all, awesome fhr, nice mana, lots of +vit.

charms, probably some res all gcs, but mostly as many life charms as possible (what type should i use for what my lvl is?)

And the main question, how high should my level be? 30? 29? what is common?

and with that lvl, and 8 plus skills what lvls should my skills be? (i want 1 in holyshield anyways, and minimum 1 in vigor, cause i wanna desynch)

and just any tips on dueling strats, gear tips, skill tips, anything, would be apreciated

I wouldn't really call level 30 LLD...

The following question comes into my mind:

Why hotspurs? Even Sanders Boots are way better with the stat boni and the speed.

As for the belt: Try bladebuckle... admittably, it adds no mana, but it does add more FHR, stats... or otherwise you could use String of Ears wich is IIRC clvl 29. If all else fails, a rare belt with 50 or so life and resistrs easily beats nightsmoke.

I'd go for 30, minimum, because a +2 combatkskill ammy is clvl 30, unless you have an awesome paladin amulet.

forget holy shield, just shop for a +3 holyshield scepter on switch together with a second spirit (5 holy shield right there). Max hammer, concentration and stick the rest into Vigor if you want to be able to desynch, as Vigor is a synergy for hammer.

Just some random thoughts really, as in my 2 cents.

Might as well go to 32 for Waterwalks?

I don't think he can shop a +3 holy shield scepter. Only lion branded ones are available and they offer +3 to combat skills,if he hasn't invested any points there then it is no use.

+3 comb is min lvl 45

??? What am I missing here is it not perfectly possible to shop for a +3 to holy shield scepter, usable at clvl 24 because thats when the dam skill becomes available for a paladin? I did not recall saying +3 to all combat skills, nay, I said +3 to a single skill... yes, if you want the sicko variant then get a +2 combat skills//+3 holy shield scepter for +5... but that's ridicoulously hard to shop for.

Max level for LLD is 30. After lvl 30 you begin to get into MLD. There are varying degree's of LLD such as VLLD and MLLD but for the most part any characters dueling 1-30 are put in the LLD category.

Cute. Unfortunately, Phat plays hardcore as do some otherPvP-ers here, and thus we look at your rules a tad differently ;). If it's dead after we attack it, we win.

To me it depends on the build somewhat, but generally I don't consider it MLD until small vita charms and elite items become available (39-ish), and MLD extends up to around the Stormshield/Anni/Torch/BotD level range (70-ish). But that's just one man's opinion; I don't subscribe to any LLD sites or leagues.

Okay, so you quoted me why? Because you do not subscirbe to those LLD "rules" or what? I'm really failing to see how your post had anything to do with mine.

I quoted you because you commented on Phat, who suggested he go to 32 for Waterwalks. I wanted to point ou tthat not everyone thinks the same about the VLLD/LLD/MLD/HLD distinction that is posted on some website, and that you therefore might get suggestions that do not fit along those lines.
