Help with Hardcore Trapasin

I decided to cross-post this from the hardcore forum...

So yet another one of my hardcore Summoners bit the dust yesterday. And honestly, I don't really feel like playing one again. I'd like to try an Assassin specializing in traps out this time.

From what I understand they are the least gear dependent build of Assassin and have at least a good amount of survivability in hardcore.

The problem is I've never played one and I have NO idea where to drop points. Will shadow disciplines help in hardcore? Should I go strictly traps? What about martial arts?

I poked around the different forums but couldn't find a build specifically designed for hardcore. Any help is appreciated.

kickers aren't really gear dependent either. All they need is myrmidon greaves, even if they're only magic, and a guillame's face, everything else can be junk. You might find them more fun... anyhow standard trapper build is maxing DS, LS, FB, and LS synergies, with a few points in the 1 point wonders - CoS, SM, MB, fade/BoS. (I favour BoS because equip res and dr is easier to get than equivalent equip-based ias and frw)
