The Greatest of their Class: Druids

This is a series of threads based on the dream pvp setup, but not against other classes, but each other instead.

Scenario: The druid camp.

Timotei Windborn, Earik Savage and Breuce Elderson, the masters of the druid academy get into about which type of druid is the best of the best. They decide to prove this with a tournament against each other with the best of the best gear available in an all out death match.

This is where you come in.

Help whatever camp you decide to go with by equiping them and turning them into the godliest they can be.

The limitations are there can't be an back-up gear, just a switch with the magical 'w' button. As in no stash stuff which means no cta for some people.

My experience is limited but I go with the rabies/fury druid as the most powerful among the druids and this is my setup(other werewolf druids please help out with this gear by tweaking as much as possible):

Helm: Perfect Upped Jalals socketed with a ber.
Armor: Enigma Archon Plate
Weapon/shield: Perfect Eth Tombreaver with Zod and two 40/15s
Switch: Perfect Death's web socketed with a poison die facet, jeweler's monarch of delfecting with 4 poison die facets.
Belt: Verdungo's Hearty Coil
Gloves: Draculs Grasp
Boots: Upgraded Gore riders
Rings/Amulet: Highlords Wrath and dual perfect Ravenfrosts
Charms: 9 Shapeshift GCs with 45 life, 10 20 life scs with either resists, ar, fhr or r/w or a combination where possible. 20/20 Druid Hellfire torch, perfect Annihilus Charm.

Skills:
20 Fury
20 Rabies
20 Poison Creeper
20 Heart of the Wolverine
20 Lycanthropy
Rest in prereqs and werewolf.


*There are crafted/ rares that can replace some of the stuff here so please help out with that shapeshifter clans.
**This gear setup would be my ideal setup for rabies/fury dream gear. Yours may be different. Put it down here

ur problem is in the dr, my shaper will probably beat him kinda easily, vs other druid i prefer tombreaver shael shael zod beaccause its important to get the first hit,, u will prolly die aswell because ur only hitting the 42% fhr bp, i hit the 86 bp with max dr (well 46). u cant rabies me because fury finsihes u off to fast, if ur able to i survive like 3 hits (forti build, ofc capable of useing eni). and i can prolly catch you (cause of the 1.08 highlords). we will use my druid (not a dreamchar, he is real ---> kazama-fury)

belt: 24fhr/6ow/27str/68/5fire res craft belt/perfect verdungos (only ed isnt/stamina)
helm:crown of ages ber ber(perf res/31 dr(perf aswell))
charms: 9 45 shapers/9 3/20/20s in inv (not the duped skin) +1 3/20/5 fhr
perf anni perf torch ofc
in stash: grief pb (400 dmg,-21% poison), gris caddy


bring it on peops and remember: if u see this druid you arent in a nightmare, its all real

dumb maybe, but still true :/. Blizz needs to give tele to shifters(not neccessarily other skills, just tele). Unrestricted movement = key in pvp :smiley: .


Wait...when do you use a griz caddy? Just can't think of any particular situation where your main wep or grief wouldn't be better.

It might not be "ezpk", but I'd still say a Windy with similar expenses as your SS Druid will be more advantageous, simply with tele.

Put on Death's glove + ETreks and Rabies are not going to be that devastating... not at all. Don't summon any minions except Oak, tele a lot, and the windy may not own but the ss druid won't have an easy time either. -.-

Haha. I dunno. It wouldnt be any worse than tele on smiters. Although it would make rabies a lot more deadly.

Windy vs ss would be a long duel for sure, especially if the ss druid is defensive, but windy will take the win eventually just due to range.

sorry guys but unles your druid is prepared for every dueling situation. i bet even my zon can take your druids out.

and theres no way you can beat rauth with a windy. hes played windies for as long as i knew him so hes damn good with them. all he needs is a deaths hand ^^

Go checkout their guide david. Its like, 100x better than all the rest.

If anyone can get me a decent windy to use on europe ill duel the Superdruid haha. Ping will be fun way over there i bet.

dunno who wins, won vs alot of windies (cant remember i lost:O) i play the melee druid aswell since the expansion was there, i dont say i cant loose ofcourse...we will see :)
