help with ww barb..

what kind of equipment i should buy for my ww barb? its now lvl 70. (havent got boost in hell :tongue: ) but i'm going to make it as good as possible.. so? what kind of equipment?

now i'm using:
-arreat socket with 15% ias jewel (upped)
-highlord's
-duress
-eth oath 315ed (small crescent)
-draculs
-verdungos 36/15
-storm socket with 40% ed + 9 min dmg jewel
-gore riders
-raven 20/204 (meaby going to buy 1 with better ar)

not very good items but anyway.. can u tell me something to add/change to my equipment? not very expensive plz, cause i have the most good items on my hammer pala so i dont have much to use for my barb. but good advices would be nice.. :grin:

Not always, OW can do unresistable dmg and that is more important than raw damage that can be reduced.

duress > fort if you go bvb or melee.

Retro is rite forti is still the better armour but in many cases, like bvb duress can edge due to OW wich is important.

Basically u cant go wrong with either.

Ditch thatjewel in ur helm as max dmg and min dmg jewels are bugged ur better off using a 40%ed +9 str duel or plain 40%

You'll go wrong if you use fort in a good bvb duel.

Also he has a 15%ias jewel and only edmg/max or min jewels are bugged in armours. Plain max or min dmg jewels arn't.

true u can make up alot of ow without too much problem, i.e

Fury + draculs + gores

66%+25%+10= 101% Open wounds

obviously its capped at 100%

And he can do all this while still wearing Forti

But to be honnest there is very marginal differences between Duress and Forti.

Yes. Sort of. %ed+max jewel put somewhere else than the weapon only gives the %ed to the min damage and +max obviously to max. With %ed+min it's the other way around, min is obvious, but %ed only goes to maxdam.

You also don't need that IAS jewel in your helm as you are a ww barb and ww only calculates weapon speeds and no off-weapon ias.

The only reason I can think of is for Zerking or using Widow, perhaps the 15% ias hits another breakpoint for one of those.

the 40%ed 9 min is buged in anything other than weapon as stated. plain 40%ed adds more damage so change it or trade it in the channels to someone who thinks its a great socket. as for forti vs duress, it apears your on a budget so i would stick to duress because its not worth the extra expense moving up to a forti. besides duress is a great armour for a barb. i only ever use enigma or duress on my baba and never feel im missing out.

I would still use grief in a BvB for the raw dmg. :prop:
