So i definately believe i got scammed through what my friend says comes with a certain d2 loader.... I was in act everything was going fine he wanted a brain for Anni (suspicous yes...but i didnt care) se do a drop trade by where jehryn is when u first get to act2... i drop he drops, i go to pickup his anni and right before i get to it i get the Halt Error...i exited d2 super quick rejoined the game and went to act2 again....got the same error within seconds of leaving the WP there. Heres my friend input when i told him about this...

Friend: i know that one, it comes with some d2ldr
Friend: if you have the anti thing it stopps it
Friend: cuz what happens is is that the hate says that you can open a torch
those crashing all who come near without anti
Friend: and the orig guy's MH should crash when he did it right but d2
stays same
Me: Oh really??, Thats intresting...

I honestly dont know what the heck he's talking about but it has to do with a d2ldr im guessing.... if anyone could clarify this for me i would love to hear what theyve gotta say about this....:smiley:

I definitely don't have D2Loader (or any other 3rd party D2 program) but I've definitely experienced the same error before. Someone else posted the same error about the same game as me- a game called "mule park" which the error was somehow specific to.

Anyway I think it's some kind of a bug, but it might be an exploitable bug. I wouldn't rule out foul play, but it's possible you just got an in-game bug at the worst possible time.

D2Loader is a hack program. No further discussion necessary.

The portal/bug is usually most commonly used in act 2. In a simple term, just don't drop trade in act 2, or simply don't drop trade with anyone you don't know/trust.
