1.11b patching problem

i am currently running 1.09, and i want to patch to 1.11b.

when i run the patch (yes it is in the correct directory), i get a message saying that it cannot find expd2.mpq, even though i can see the supposedly nonexistent file.

i use d2 loader, and can play the game just fine. i just need help with the upgrade patching.

please help!!

its impossible to patch when you use a loader?
i have the patch downloaded and everything, i dont use bnet to do it.

but can you explain a bit better what you mean?

it may take a while to download but u shud just connect to battle.net and let the game download the patch for you

i cant connect to bnet with a loader, and my cd is scratched all to hell.
i live in belgium, and d2x is no longer available for sale here. :(
