I just finished a 200 question 4 chapter test, took me 6.5 hours. That was after I worked on a theology project for two hours. I have yet to start my essay that is due Friday or touch the 1.5 weeks worth of Trig homework I have. Oh did I mention the Spanish and Environmental Science tests I have Thursday.
School can die.

Don't worry. We're all going to die anyways.

Yeah, but I want my school to die first. A 500 year lifespan is enough don't you think?
EDIT: Actually, no. I just might not get to it till Friday.
Would this be a bad time to email you about website help? :wink2:

And you expect sympathy? I work full time during the day and have 6 houses that need to be designed within about a month. Each house takes roughly 20 hours to do. I might get to put in 4 hours a day on them. Usually only 2 hours. Roughly $1.6 million dollars worth of construction is depending on me to get the design done on time.
Tonight is my only night off for the rest of the month. Don't whine about having a heavy work load. I only wish I had it as easy as you.
You shouldn't have been drunk-posting 2 or 3 times the last 2 weeks now, should you Smeg?

I just got the go-ahead on all six projects right after work today. Those drunken nights were in between preliminary design phases and meetings and revisions and changes and more design and more changes and oh damn I could use a drink and more changes and on and on and on...
You know, it sounded like a sound argument until you mentioned 1.5 weeks worth of Trig homework. My suggestion for the future, don't procrastinate and time manage better.
While we're complaining about work, I have probably over 20 hours of Arabic homework I need to catch up on, solely because my professor keeps assigning homework that's above my level (I'm in a class with 12 native speakers, and I'm not). To make matters worse, I really can't read physical sources until I get my reading glasses on Saturday, or else I get nasty headaches.
I have a mathematics PhD thesis to do by the end of the year. It's not going too great.

I am caught up on all of my priorities at school.
Hate me. Loathe me. Admire me.

Actually that was from when I was at camp. I missed a week for camp and then 3 days because I was sick.
On a good note, I got extra credit for the ballista I built a year or two ago in Theology.

School sux but you learn lots of stuff and that's crucial to your future. And if you skip school now but can't find a job in the future, then you'll be complaining: omfg this world sux, life sux!

LOL MegaFlame sux!
just kidding, ive been having a rough time at school lately too (9th grade isnt that difficult, though), lots of projects and homework (just finished a proj tonght) i think that this whole thing about teachers going "holy **** we need to hurry up and cover all the subject matter left to cover before exams" is pretty bad. but its almost over, so good luck with all that work.

I really don't think life gets any easier after school, especially if you go to college. When school's done you work for 50 years at a job that is either demanding or boring. I'd say if life gets easier after you finally graduate, then you're probably not doing much with it.

Of course it doesn't get easier after college but at least your efforts will be rewarded with cash instead of an useless A.

Do you still get the cash if you didn't get the A?
I'm on break this week. I have no homework. Zero. It kinda worries me. All through high school I've pretty much had no projects that went beyond writing up blah blah blah. The homework this year is so small too. I'm quite possibly screwed next year at college...

Im just about finished with the "cram you with information so we can test you during the week before spring break" section at Uconn. I got one Linear Algebra test on Friday, then its Spring Break. Not that I will even be up at Uconn during it because I dont want to risk getting my car getting broken windows or burned or flipped over or ...

Try getting up at 5 in the morning, working a 12 hour shift on the floor, and then coming home to study for 3 more hours before going to sleep. That's the real school of hard knocks.
Stop complaining. It's life. You made the choice to miss a week for camp, knowing you'd have a butt load of work to do once you got home. Us school kids have it easy. Basically, here's my advice. If you worry about school and let it get to you, it only gets harder.
School > job.
Seconded. I'd much rather be working as a game developer than dealing with this crap at school.
It's a good 28 hours of schooling, 12 hours of travel, at some ****ing ridiculous amount of cash... I think it works out to about five grand a month. And I'm NOT getting my money's worth.
Add to that living alone, working to pay rent, plus homework, projects due soon... it's called crunch time, life throws it at you. Enjoy, or break - but those are the only real options you get.
