Getting D Key to drop?

So I decided against leveling via Hell Baal, so decided I'd use my ancients quest when I I figured it was time, so I'm running along find at 86(thanks in large part to tri-computer/cdkeys to pump up exp vary nicely!) But after recieving the Hate key, I was in the mood to just run Nith to get the last key I need. Its been about 60 runs+ now(went from 85-86, granted I enjoy whacking my way to the last level and whacking the correct tunnel) but this is getting insane. I'll get it tonight, but just so I'm 100% correct here is my quick question...

Nith's key isn't tied to completion of Hell Baal or Ancients quest is it? The other keys have dropped, so other than one unlucky sob(or am I lucky? got a nice 40ed Jewel and a Grand Charm and a few other decent stuff) I am assuming that may be the cause if no one can verify they drop regardless.

The Destruction Key dropping is not tied to the completion of the Ancients or Baal quest. It's just probability and luck. You just are in a pretty bad luck streak for now. Also, they have the same chance to drop regardless of whatever else drops.

You've just not had the luck you need to find it, neither did I - some 50+ runs without a single key... but then.. this (http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/9297/screenshot0639cz.jpg) happened. That sorta made up for the last 50+ runs :D

Oh yeah, and on the way down pindle dropped a 5 dex cold skiller. Not too bad for 1 run :laugh:

Nice drops I must say, I ended up running an additional 31 after my initial 60 before he dropped one. Overall it was decent, ended up with a few nice things including a Gul, but lets hope the next one isn't so hard.

im using a fishymancer on EuHCL, and i seem to get a key every 3 or 4 runs. running nihlathak with maxxed corpse explosion is fun hehe. i dont even see him, i kill him from around the corner :) never had a rune off him though, apart from the usual eld's etc...

lol, i do the same thing...i've had him teleport right into a pack of dead bodies...he died quick...and i kept blowing up the corpses just to show him who's boss!!
