I was graced with the olden Nubcannon on my witchyzon, but seeing as the entire build of my other character relied on machine gunning, I decided to start a second amazon focused on frost.

So questions:

1. I understand maxing Cold Arrow and Freezing Arrow is the smart thing to do, so I will not need Ice Arrow. Valkyre is also a must IMO. This leaves me with about 40 skill points to play around with, as the bonus points from quests will go into a single point in every one of my passive/magic skills.

So, what else should I improve? The dodging skills? Penetrate and Critical Strike? Strafe? Or an even mix in everything for overall boost?

2. To upgrade buriza or not? I understand Collossus Crossbow has extremely high strength cost, and this will dent my dextirity. Will the damage boost compensate the loss of AR through DEX or will it not?

3. Merc. Ussually I like to get Act 2 mercs with Might or Holy Freeze, but I already have cold from the arrow and most of my damage is cold not physical. Which merc should I get and what aura runewords should I try to give it?

That is all for now, premature thanks for whatever help anyone will provide.

I suggest a "insight" polearm(ca,cv etc.) for your merc, as you will be needing a hugh amt of mana for FA. It helps to regen mana fast.

If you have enough mana leech, then i suggest "pride" polearm for dmg and AR or Reaper's Toll for extra slow.

Hope this helps.

1. afaik most FAzons put a point or two in strafe for leeching. You could hybrid and max LF and CS or just LF. Magezons, who use immolation arrow and FA, are rare but that's another option. Otherwise you'll be maxing something like like decoy, which won't really make much difference.
2. I don't think it's worth upgrading the buriza.
3. holy freeze is a unique source of slow, but slow's useless to frozen enemies. Against CIs it'd help, but hopefully your valk will be able to tank those while you use whatever your alternative is. A might merc would be better imo, to help your leeching and damage.
