pure lightning build: max lf, max cs, max ls.
i use vamp gaze, eth titans, phoenix monarch, archon fort, raven, dual leech ring, highlords, +2 passive, 20 ias gloves, and war travs.

will absolutely dominate cows! plus, you don't have to worry so much about killing king.

http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords-110.shtml

I'm not sure if this site is allowed to be posted on the forum but the runewords that you were talking about is right in the page...

Its the official D2 site and I as well as many others have posted it so i would say its ok.

sniffitking's setup is somewhat bass-ackwards since the enhanced damage from his shield and armor does absolutely nothing for his lightning damage. I would go for something more like this:

Griffon (or Shako or Gaze or Tal's)
Highlord's or +2 Zon ammy
regular Titan's (otherwise you'll have to wait for them to replenish)
Stormshield (or 'Sanctuary')
CoH (or 'Peace' or 'Treachery')
+2-3 jav/spear gloves with 20%ias
Razortail with 1pt Pierce or TGod's with 5-10 pts Pierce
Treks or Waterwalks or WarTravs
Ravenfrost
mana leech ring if you need it or BK or whatever

I think he uses Dragon for redemption which solves his mana problems, the fort could change though.

Thunderstroke is a great choice. Main problem is the lack of leech.

I'd beg to differ that the main problem is the lack of self-replenish, but that's merely from a convenience standpoint. If you can clear the entire cow level with just 80 sticks then they're definitely a top choice.

I'd add the lack of Run/Walk too, it makes herding a bit slower.

Titans for the win.

Stormshield is a fine shield. Socket with PDiamond/Um for resists, 15%IAS jewel for speed, or Hel for lighter requirements.

the -15% enemy lightning resistance increases the damage of fury quite considerably and I can vouch for that. 80stick is enough providing you dont mind visiting charsi every now and again.

And don't say use an infinity merc, merc/valkyrie would only severe your herding ability.

Precisely my point. In anything more than a solo game that's probably at least once per run, i.e. in the middle of the run. When someone's going for max efficiency it may be better to just throw a few extra Titan's per run than have to TP to town and repair your stack of TStrokes.
