current problem?

ive just tried logging onto d2, and a small error box appeared, entitled
'Hey guys'
with a msg
'we got a big error here'
or something...

anyone know what this means?

Sounds like a d2loader error message, or am I wrong? D2 usually gives dll or memory errors if it crashes.

i dunno, it was like a windows box, i always thought that they used the d2 style boxes to show any game errors...

I had this happen to me when I came back for this ladder season. Of course, that was when I was using a mod, and someone stole my cd-key and I got my account hacked and I had to get a new copy of the game, but that might not be the case with you. I'd just try reinstalling the game, that'll take out any mods or patches you have that aren't from the game itself. That's what I did before I got the new cdkey and it worked fine.

D2Loader is a third party program, with it you can play without a CD. Hope I'm not violating rules by that. :P
Anyway, my friend used it when he played, he'd lost his D2 discs, and I heard from him that it had some weird error messages. Or it just could be a mod like iamdela said.

The message "We got a big problem here" is a known D2Loader error. If you don't think you're using a program, then I'd recommend searching your computer to see if something's been installed by someone else. A mod by itself wouldn't give this error message, but it might result in D2Loader prompting you with it.
