View Full Version : Peace armor: worthwhile or not?

New to bowazons (but have run rangers before), I got the urge when I found a Buriza to make an old-fashioned Burizon. She's now around 55th level or so. Until now she's been using Angelic armor/ammy/ring with Sigon's helm/gloves/belt/(shield on switch). I made a Peace today and I'm wondering if it's worthwhile. The plus-skills aren't so bad, but I'm a bit concerned over the CTC Valkyrie. Currently my prebuff Valk is higher than the lvl15 that the armor will cast. As I'm Strafing almost constantly, I'm fairly certain that at least once every two minutes I'll be seeing my Valk poof and the armor's Valk take over. I'm not sure if Peace is a viable end-game armor, even in a higher armor than mesh (I was thinking M'avina's set, keeping the GMB on switch while using Buriza as prime).
Should I hang onto the Peace or find something else as an intermediate armor?

There are much better options, especially for a Bowazon... Twitchthroe, Duriel's Shell, 'Smoke', 'Treachery', 'Lionheart' just to name a few.

I second that. Peace is a waste of code.

I find peace a rather usefull armor for when you can equip it. There is nothing better for a level 29 javazon.

At least it is something that can be used in untwinked gaming for leveling. Just take a look at principle, that's a real waste.

Not that a gul can be used for anything else.
I made one while I was a lower level and it saved me from putting skills into Valk early on. IIRC I used it through nme then ditched it in hell because I needed something better.

Exactly. It is a decent low level armor. Especially useful if you have only one point into valk, while you decide where the other points will go. Never an end game armor, though.

Gul is rather useful on ladder. But nl,I wonder why am I still keeping mine...they take too much space.

Twitchthroe? Man I've been selling those to Charsi! Even double-upp'd I'm skeptical.
Duriels: I've got an etheral one...... :-P
Treachery: why didn't I think of that?! The IAS would free up space elsewhere. I think this may work until I can get endgame equip going.
Lionheart and Smoke: I think I can do better. It's academic as I want for a Lum at the moment.
Thanks so much! I have a target now.
NB: the Peace is still great for prebuffing the Valk.
You have an eth Durry?!?! Use it! An eth Durial's will never wear out on a bowzon. Socket it! But, I think Treachery is a better armor now. (disclaimer)

gul CAN be useful...kingslayer is the first thing on my mind. also poison max resists, you never know when poison pvp ppl might come in and threat you...gul worth like a lem rune though...or even worse, couple pgems....
