I guess theoretically a perfect Vermillion prefix is going to be about twice as common as a perfect Ruby prefix, but if you're going for legit jewels you're not likely going to limit yourself to perfect mod rolls, i.e. a 14/15 or 37/15 would be just about as good as a 15/15 or 40/15.

46 damage diffrence... not even worth mentioning.

+ haven't seen much 45/45 tiaras for sale. In fact, even 15/15 jewels are quite hard to come by.

So, according to this theory 60max/60ias armor is also "better" than 160/60?

I don't think so. IIRC those damage calcs were done with the assumption of a Fortitude armor, which turns the 45 max from the helm into 180 additional damage. If you get rid of that 300%ed, any +max gear or charms become less effective.

It's highly dependent on gear/charms/dex, but in general you're better off just going with what works (i.e. ed/ias).

With the advent of Faith, fortitude is becoming the norm of a PvP bowazon these days, not many uses 60/120 these days - The use of fortitude for comparison is perfectly reasonable. Most people can hit 7FPA GA with fortitude anyway.

Even if you load the inventory up with 3/20/20's, 15/40's damage still lags behind 15/15, and that's what I see in the calculations.
