what is the most popular armor to make an enigma for a barb? i just found a 12%ed 3os shadow plate. the 230 str req seems a bit steep even for a barb.

most popular are breast plate, mage plate, and sometimes archon plate

but you can use any low str requirement armor too.

The goal is to save as much stat points from strenght and use them for vita

IMO mage plate or dusk. Hellfire torch made breastplate enigmas pointless, as its very easy to get 55 base str for mageplate enigma using that and anni.

For barbs, it's either the Archons, the Dusks or the Wyrmhides.

Go for whatever you can wear with base or close to base Strength.

I would vote Dusk. Base+Anni+Torch+Dracul's gets you there.
