Connection problem

For some reason I can't connect to Battle.net since yesterday. A message appears and says something like: "Your connection has been restricted from this realm temporarily. Please try to login later.". I know this probably isn't too big of a deal but since this never happened to me before I would like to know if this is just routine maintenance or if there is actually something to it. If this helps I never used maphacks or anything of the like nor have I cheated in any possible way. If somebody could clear this up for me I would be thankful. Thanks.

I don't really know what's going on, but the same thing happened to me and I can't log on since yesterday either... I wonder what went wrong...

That message is the new version of the old "Realm Down" message. It's usually caused by the player making/joining too many games in too short a period of time, or whenever B.Net feels like being stupid. It usually lasts anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
