Join game + hos all + tg + pwn + nk + gold jack + taunt + esc / enter + ng.

Unless you're a nice guy in general. Then just leave and join ng.

I usualy use constant leap with my bvc barb on their corpses.. they cant reach their body, because allways get stunned/knocked back lol , they are realy realy sad

Back when I used to duel more I basically was GM until I saw BM. Then I BM the BM'er. Once someone has been BM I feel the gloves are off and anything is fair game.

I'm generally a very nice person in PvP, ESPECIALLY in pub games.

However, if they choose to NK me, or anyone else, then to hell with them. If they NK on purpose (on me, or on others) without any motives at all, then they are simply asking to be slapped. :jig:

i never intentionally BM or NK anybody in a pub game, unless it's really really tempting(like a tal sorc looking so vunerable xD). the most is only town-guarding when i'm really bored to death, or town-guarding characters like bowazons(they are natural wussys).

of course there will be some a**es who NK/BM for no reason at all. depending on how he TGs me when i'm naked, as a sorceress, it's not that hard to get to my corpse, unless the enemy is guarding it like his account password.

I always try to have GM. Its when some low hoster (im lld/mld), town killer/guarder, nker, gold grabbing pos comes in that ill go BM on his rear. He doesnt have to do it on me. If a guy nks another guy like 5 times, i do my best to learn the nker a lesson or two... or five... :laugh:

edit: Just want to make clear that i dont care about my gold, i rarely even have gold on my duellers. Its just the last drop if hes so into gold that he takes others gold. btw, i hate gold whiners too. If they pick up _every_ little gold pile in the game, they can whine, but who does that? If they dont pick the piles, then why do they whine about gold if they dont pick it up?? Just my point of view...

I thinks its stupid that people whine about gold stealers both in PvP and PvM. Blizzard make the gold-drop-at-death-thing for a reason. It is a reward for killing someone or a punishment for being killed. If you don't want to lose gold then don't carry it on your char or don't duel. Dropping it at a waypoint is a simple enough solution. My thoughts are that if gold drops, anyone can take it. Its not like gold is hard to find or insanly valueable.

I expecially hate people who whine about losing something like 1K gold. :rolleyes:

Yeah, if you lose anything less than a million, you have lost nothing. If you lose more than a million, what the hell are you doing dueling with a million gold?

Take 2 seconds and kill a monster to sell whatever it drops if you Really need gold.

When I started dueling in pubbies, I was perfectly GM and kind of naive. I would assume it was a mistake when someone nked my with a tele-hammer or by trapping my body. Now that ive been dueling for a while I follow a method similar to what other people have been saying. IF someone nks you, either get your body (if possible) or leave and rejoin. In my experience, when some lvl 95 necro pwns a pubbie, he is also potting (i mean rejuvs, not mana) and using all the stuff people avoid using for courtesy (decrp ect, nothing wrong with it per say, its just that most people dont use it). Previously, I would "not sink the they're level" and not NK an nker who i killed. That is a bad idea. If someone starts to nk and tg the crap out of a game, grab your rejuvs, put on your sorb (if applicable) go kill them and then trap (im a sin) their corpse, stand on it, leap on it, etc. Even unhost other people so you can tg without fear of hitting other naked players. Usually they call it a fluke and say they pwn you etc...

If they leave just duel them again, same BM, when they come back. This is really the only way to stop such players.

That my style of duel all is cool if u play fair, i play fair but the minute ur bm or nk.

Then all has to be made fair, cuz i will do the same to u only worst.

It true ppl should not whine about gold because i hate when ppl carry like 100k+ gold to a duel game and complain that someone steals it.

I mean if i saw alot of gold on the ground and i need repairs, good luck to u expecting to get it back. I mean ppl steal what ever little gold i have i dont bother whine i just kill and steal back :smiley:

But i like the smart ones that try to hide gold :grin:

Or if i really have to be a noob i just come back with my foh/auradin and clean out the pub and w8 outside town and just aura kill people :thumbsup:

The most annoying part of duel is when you dominated one guy, he gets pissed off and call all his 'pals' and go out on you.

Then it gets even more annoying when they killed you, they cry out 'pwn'd by xxx' and immediately exit the game, giving you no opportunity to get their back..

I think that most people who nk..bm.tg..take gold get beat up at there jobs, and work. And like to take it out on a game.. like if some kid who plays d2, and goes to class wearing a d2 shirt, cap, backpack, lunch box, is gonna get picked on, so at school he calls everyone noobs and tries to tg the class room using some traps made from pencil shaveings and paper clips.. im sure this has happened.. this Is the time whre u make a coh using paper, and make some botd with the yard stick and slay the noob. But besides the fact of nkers and completely $@$%’s are just stupid.. The best way to duel if your melee is to use the !go command, and go at it.. unlike sorcs can use range attacks, usally jus hit enter and say go.. but most of the nkers ive ran into are cs zons, trap assasians, and bone necromancers. Most of em are hard to dodge.. but silly pub games like “low lvl duels” and u go in there with a level 39 (lld) and see the game filled with lvl 80’s+ nking calling eachother noobs, taking gold and so on.. I blame the schools. O.o

I hate the people that know they suck but just won't shut up or let you prove that you can kill them. This hammerdin stole my pgems while I was xfering a few in a pub game and started saying stuff like, "LOL OMFG ONWNED NUBZ" so I got my windy n raped him so badly I think he might have cried. After I killed him he started spewing out filth and went to the cold plains and just camped the waypoint. I went out town n tele'ed over to the waypoint and he just went into the waypoint. Rinse and repeat. So annoying. =/

Gold is more of a sentimental value rather than what it is actually worth for itself.

It does a better job of what "Ears" are supposed to do, except basically everyone can carry even with full inventory. Also, it gives you that certain pride that ears fail to provide, since its quality is usually so great than 1.

Recently, I've met a phoenix CS ama when practicing with my Shaman. I've had a very nice series of duels with a very nice firesorc (Love was her name methinks) and was in a generally good mood. So I challenge the ama, say go, we fight, she runs fast and desynchs and kills me (phoenix has +10 maxres so I wasnt doing enough return damage) Ok, I press Esc and run to my body. She stands there. I pick up my body and immediately get hit with CS. Dead. Wtf I ask. 'You had your body' - was the answer. I ignored this, asked her to play fair and ran to my body again. The very same thing. She said it was completely fair as I had my body. Well, I got angry and brb'ed with my wolfbarb, put on Forti and a Wisp. Now she stands outta town, hosts me and gets dead in like 10 seconds. No prob. She runs to her body, and, right as she picks up her items, she gets namelocked and beaten the crap out. I say 'you had your body' and expect her to at least be silent. Nooo!!. How could she... She starts to insult me, call me a noob and trash talk me to death, getting dead again in the meantime. Now I calmly explain her why I did that and all I need is a simple 'sorry' and all is going to be ok. Now the thing that kinda discouraged me finally.

She nk'ed me. She claimed it was fair.
She got nk'ed in return. She claimed it was unfair.
She was asked for a simple excuse.
She preferred to flame me and leave the game.

i could start about (society, honestly how the hell do u spell this...) not being harsh enough and therefore not killing off the weaking, meaning they somehow live to reproduce and thus severly hurt the future of the human race.....but thats just me

Ye, its such a delight to see how they get surprised that they get nked in return. Today's been a day rich on stupid people. Some infinity merc sorc killed me and nk'ed me like 5 or 6 times. When I killed her later and she walked through my fissure naked (proven - all naked people still walk through fissures even after they learn its instant death) she cried: "omfg! nk time! I will nk you now druid!" It was a LOL. She never got her body though...

well, there was one particular incident recently...

i was nking/tging a paladin(for fun xD), and later the party which the paladin was in, turned the tables when he brought his wind druid.

of course, i got nked/tged.

i challenged him to a 1v1 duel in a private game, then i brought my sorc in(my barb was dueling him just now).

he brought his trapsin to fight. he only won me like twice out of like 20 over matches lol, and 1 draw. but of course i could have scorned him and all that, but i just said things like GG and LOL and "wow, close..", since i was the one starting the BM in the pub game xD.

well it's all good, we lefted without any more feuds and hold each other in good reputation ;).
