I have recently seen the EP league rules on this forum somewhere and I noticed, fortitude armors are banned...

so I was wondering, what are these guys using for armor then? forti is about the best BvB armor out there isn't it?

How about ebug Stone? Ebug banned? Eth Valor, as mentioned above, did very well on my old BvB.

I dueled alot with a 2.9k prudence and the extra defence is worth it in my opinion, particulary if you use concentrate. Also the damage difference with a fort isn't that great after the PvP penalty.

enigma is banned in that league, and also enigma is not a bvb amor

No it's not, they all use enigmas. Just using the tele is banned. Most of the BvB's there use either Archon Enigma or Sacred Armor Enigma.

I think armor choice depends on weapon choice. As per Rik's Duress/Fort comparison, the two best setups there were Grief+Duress or Fury+Fort.

Don't ask me. I'm not suggesting the use of those. They probably think the def is good (up to 1465 I think). But then again, they even use Steelrends in EPvP, because there are limitations on against who can you have this and that much OW. IMO they are nerfing barbs too much and giving other classes too much power, even though, barbs still seem to own in their league.

Oh, and they have this odd rule, which says that certain classes cannot have str bug, if it depends on your boots.

there was a topic where they tested all bvb armors etc and came out that eni was best

and in those rules of their pvp you see that enigma is allowed but not the tele function, only sorc can use it cuz of main skill ;)
