I know there is a skill that's called Stun, and I saw some synergies boosts for this skill when I used a skill planner so here it goes...
Skill points
20 Stun
10 Warcry (duration stun synergy boost)
10 Concentrate (AR synergy boost)
10 Bash (damage synergy boost)
20 BO
20 Mastery
Rest into shout
rest 1 point.
This may finish at high levels so just beware of that
Gear:
Weapon, Fury Zerk, Grief Zerk, Ebotd Zerk, Eth DC Zerk
Armor, Fort, Duress, Upped eth shaft, Eth Carapace, Stone glitched, etc etc...
Shield, Stormshield.
Helm, Arreats, CoA(?)
Belt, Dungos/T-god's
Glove, Steelrend, Lavagout, Dracul's, Bloodfist, etc etc...
Boots, Goreriders.
Rings, Highlords/raven/angelics
Charms
3/xx/xx max ar life charms or barb combat charms(STUN!! DURATION)
I dunno but, maybe if we can give this a try, WE STUN SMITERS!!YAY
so anything wrong? give it.

There's definately something wrong.
By all means, a barb's stun cannot be faster than a good smite. Therefore, you'll lose against them.
If you are building it for that PvP purpose, then it's probably not going to work. If you are looking to make one for PvM, then it should be a fun character to have. :girly:

I had a spare ebotdz and was wanting to make a build like this, problem was I looked at the synergies and they're all over the place, AR for one, damage for another...
Your skill placement looks the best I’ve seen for a stunner, I was thinking Treachery + Trangs gloves and as much OW as possible, kinda stun and drain them.
Love to hear from anyone that has tried a stun barb build.
I think that a concentrate barb with warcry can be also very safe build (maybe more safe due to archers) with greater damage and he doesn't use too much skill points (20BO are obvious, rest skill points comes to conc., warcry, shout, mastery). Also if it doesn't matter - if it's barb or other class, you can make bear - druid with primary attack skill maul and using shock wave.
But maybe you want to make something more uncommon, and a stun barb can be more original. :wink3:

Yeah stun and drain is the key to a stunner IMO because I know stun probably won't do enough damage...so maybe I can SKIP the Bash synergy for more AR or more Stun length so...again
20 Stun
10-15 Warcry(stun length)
10-15 Concentrate (AR length)
20 BO
20 Weapon Mastery
Rest into shout
rest 1 point.
Maybe we should focus more on OW and less on DS or CB or just raw damage...I'd say FURY Runeword is the runeword for this build IMO because Stun isnt gonna do alot of physical damage but the OW will drain, and thanks about the treachery, I kinda like the fact that Venom can also drain like OW so that might be pretty nice too.
Lol, if I had the time, I'll probably try out and see how it turns out...I may or maynot write a guide like this...probably won't, but doing this build just for fun....

Let us know how he goes, I don't have a spare char spot at the moment, and don't feel like creating a 6th account.
I think you're right about 'Fury' over 'Botd' tho you'll need 125% IAS to reach the 9fps breakpoint, so hmm...
Fury 40
Treachery 45
Highlords 20
Nos Coil 10
leaves 10 ias needed from helm or jool (Guillaume's Face with ias jool is best bet?)
Fade and SS takes care of DR, add gores and you'll have 76% OW, 50% CB, and 81% DS.
So crazy it might just work lol

I had once the idea of building a barb around the stun skill, but did not have the time or the gear. I am one that would be interested to know about your experience with that. Please inform us!

I gave it some thought in the past and it just seemed more practical to yell at things to stun them then whack them with a better combat skill, or make a bear
