Best Frenzy dual axes for Ubers

Hi !

I am making myself a little Frenzy Barb, only for the Ubers since im bored to death with my smither.

The only question i have is: What's your oppinion on best dual axes for the Ubers ?

Beast / Grief / death / botd or any other.
(Sadly im to poor to wear LW on this build)

Other gear are (as always ?!:smiley: )

Arreat
Gores
dracul / 20% ias rare w. LL (since i use life tap wand)
highlord
raven / dwarf / Dual L / carrion
Verdungo 40-15
forti / duress
dual 3+ on switch / 6+ LT Charges wand


Any thoughts will be highly appreciated, on weapon or gear in general.

Death is a good choice not too sure on other weapon though.

Duress is better than Fort so i would pick that.

Just remember to stack fire and light resi :smiley:

Certainly cold resists are more important than fire,unless you want to feel a full blown convicted blizzard from mephi.

oh i never knew that maybe i got it wrong , i thought the only elemental damage there was fire + light. I have not been to ubers just a few people herer said so :smiley:

GO with Beast Zerk and Death Zerk. Awsome speed, fanatacism, high cb, this setup has everything you need and 4 pvm and Ubers cant be Beat.

From zealing experience 50% cb is more than enough for taking them down,how about getting it from armor or boots or helm even(if you can afford to leave you arreat in stash for a while)?Perhaps you could use guil face/gore for cb and grief/beast...

IMO, I would stick with dracs. I think recasting LT would be tricky. My barb has about 4k life and his life will drop real fast when fighting meph. (sometimes just one shot) With dracs, the LT will keep casting, no need to stop and recast.
Now, I've never used a LT wand. If you can make the switch fast enough, then stick with the rare gloves you have and the LT wand. For me, I would stick with dracs.

godly damage
open wounds on beast
huge attack rating boost (very important)
additional huge damage boost due to death DS

last wish is an overrated, overpriced joke

Meph's Blizzard shouldn't be an issue. He only casts it at range, and he should be the first Uber you take out, so you should be tanking him at close range for the entirety of your encounter with him.

You are forgetting lag,it may give him time to cast one blizz,and without resists it is 1 hit ko.

I'm not exaclty sure how lag would result in Meph getting himself some distance on you since he doesn't run away, but I guess if you want to get nit-picky...

What I do is to close the distance with mephi as soon as possible and start attacking. If I lag ,mephi has the opportunity for a clear shot.Has happened more than once.
