3 Very Newb Questions

Alright, just getting back into the game after finding the long lost LOD CD. :rolleyes:

1) What is the difference between Ladder and Non-Ladder besides being able to upgrade runes?

2) What can you get gambling? More aptly, can you get Set or Unique items, I know you can get rares.

3) Can you only reroll grand charms or can you do large and small as well?

Thanks for any and all help. This time I won't lose the CD and have to start from scratch.

1) There are some uniques that are available only on Ladder. Also, some runewords can only be created on Ladder and there are some cube recipes that can only be utilized on Ladder.
2) Yes, you can get set and unique items, but the chances are slim
3) You can reroll any magical items, and that includes large charms and small charms.

To reroll, put your magical item in the cube along with 3 Perfect gems, click transmute and behold...

Don't forget to mention that the ladder gets reset once in a while... meaning that all your ladderchars will become nonladderchars. That's how "ladder-only stuff" gets available on nonladder (in a legitimate way)
