Thinking of rebuilding my sorc....

right now i have a level 85 Orb/TK sorc currently she has:

Pcrown with Pamythest in it
33% uped viper
uped mosers
wizzy
2*raven frosts
a crafted caster ammy with 17% fcr and 20% res all, + other mods
treks
trangs gloves

maxxed cm/orb/tk/ 8 warmth, and i started working on ice bolt to fully synergize my orb.

problem is, my orb is weak sauce... i have hardly any +skills (2) and my orb dmg is still under 400.

i started the sorc with nothing but after aqquiring this shiz, i thought i might make a pure fire sorc, using meteor and fireball as primary skills, since my equipment breaks the 105% BP.

thoughts? or should i just continue using this sroc, and hopefully get better someday? :D

sigh. if you wanted an actual killer then why did you go for orb?

orb does pathetic damage in >1p games. in 1p i dont like it too much, but it still works. you dont really need to do insane damage in 1p because everything just dies so fast.

<400 is just fine. my 92 in season 1 v110 had less than 300 and was my most successful character mf-wise.

You may have more luck going blizz. I'd max in this order:

Blizzard/Cold Mastery/Telekinesis/Ice Blast/Glacial Spike.

You could always convert that girl into a meph runner. Just suffer the 63% FCR breakpoint and get atleast 250% mf, shouldn't be too tough using wiz, that ammy, and the Moser's to substitute for magic find.

Your Sorc is really only good for Meph runs (maybe Andy if you get the hang of tossing the Orb and Teleporting so that Andy runs along with it and takes huge damage). If you want to do anything other than that, I'd suggest rebuilding.

ive full rushed many a char season 1 v110 with a <300 damage orb~ that includes chaos (but not ancients)

Sure it's doable. I mean when I facked up my first-drop Mepher I took her through to Act V and did her hellforge, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to be both safe and relatively efficient.

That Ammy is sick i wouldnt waste that on a MFer especially one using a timered skill. If it were me i would shelve that ammy and keep MFin, get more gear and then build the Fireballer......she should be fun.
