A little plug for KTA ...
We're probably going to be starting up a new KTA game in a couple of weeks or so, so keep your eyes open for that. It involves taking a HC team through all 3 difficulties (doing all quests), completely untwinked. No cheats, hacks or anything of that nature is wanted. We also share drops according to who benefits the most, rather than who can grab the quickest. Most importantly, we have fun.

We also play Mondays, from 19:30 to about 22:00 (central european time). We are just about to finish hell (got the last wp).

Probably:smiley: Monday from 19.00 until 22.00 is one of the only times I'm 100% sure that I can play, so I guess I'm in (I'm gone from the 25th feb until the 4th of march though.)

maybe it would be a good idea to have a think about what character(s) you might want to play. Most people are fairly flexible, and will play a character that the team 'needs', rather than one they initially selected.

Any preferences ?

the only chars I have atm are a lvl 73 Javazon and a lvl 25 orbress, so lotsa choices, maybe a fishymancer or a cleric

heya!

i see you are at least mildly interested in joining KTA... well i am one of the other members of the present KTA team, and i can only say that its all about FUN :thumbsup:

we should complete Hell this week, so next week could bring the start of a new session. You not being able to play 1 or 2 times is never a problem, we will boost you so you are where the rest of us is, and we continue on from there.

about what car to play you are completely free in your choise of cource, IF.. and only IF i have a little tiny voice in it i vote against a summon necro. don't understand me wrong... i actualy LOVE them... but i notice that all those minions cause me a lot of lag :embarassed: which doesn't improve the fun of the game, nor the safety while playing.

the cleric on the other hand... that sounds reaaaaaly promising... what main aura do you have in mind for him?

well... i just hope to see you join next time, more people = more fun afaic.
if you are willing to feel the group a bit, come join in for a chat. only thing being that for just this 1 time we play on tuesday instead of monday. can always try wispering me on *tikadeahc

ok summoning necro is out of the question then, I thought he might be good for tanks, you know, but yeah the lag...
If I'm going to be a cleric I was thinking of or conviction *winks at all sorcies* or meditation. But does the insight polearm meditation aura also provide a healing bonus? if it does I'm going conviction 100% for sure, if it doesn't I'm still in doubt. But don't think it's my definitive choice because there are still a lot of fun builds I want to try. ^^

about the cleric:
insight in itselve does not provide any healing, it does however provide all the mana we would ever need. if you stick the insight pole on a prayer merc however there is also a healing effect added. i don't think it is as good as a real pala's prayer with synergys etc, but it does make a difference.
if i had to choose between a cleric with meditation or conviction... the choise aint hard for me... conviction all the way. a good build option would be FoH/holy bolt/conviction i feel... and then hire a prayer merc and stich insight on him. that way you got the best of both worlds. you still support the team hugely with mana, holy bolt and a prayer aura, and at the same time you support offensively with THE best aura in the game. AND better still... you get an offensive skill that can actualy work untinked (FoH), think a spirit sword and a spirit shield (Pala shields are reaaaaly nice for this) and you get some nice start.

IF all goes well we will be finishing hell tonight with the current KTA session, and we probably could start the next on next monday. make sure you take a look at the forum tomorrow to see how things have gone. we will also write some about how to go next session.

Do you think we'll be able to start next week ? iirc, it usually takes a bit longer to sort out the details concerning chars etc. Would be good if we did start, but no problems if we delayed a week.

Maybe we should make a new recruitment thread for the next one ?

well ... finishing our current KTA tonight shouldn't be any problem at all, only thing left to do is ancients and baal himselve. from that point of vieuw there is room to start a new session next week.

i agree with you that sorting out stuff could take a little longer before we could start next KTA team, but on the other hand... things aint THAT difficult :rolleyes:

and sorting stuff out can be done in channel as well, goes a lot faster that way too. at the very least we should come together next week with the team as it is then... if not to play, then to chat and have fun... and sort stuff out a bit more.

about the recruiting thread... lets wait till tomorrow... make a nice poost of how we got guardianship... (or died,... lets hope not)
and at the same time make a thread to announce the next KTA.
