[Misterme]

Hi, im new with diablo 2 : LoD. i have a 30 necromancer now. i've read some treads on this forum but some words mean, like:
fishymancer
hammerdin (i think i know what this is but im not sure)
and other words.
can you guys please make me some wiser? :rolleyes:

Fishymancer: A necromancer specialized in summon skeleton, skeleton mastery and corpse explosion. Nightfish wrote a good guide about them, hence the name.

Hammerdin: A paladin specialized in blessed hammer plus synergies, concentration and holy shield.

any summoning necromancer will lag like a mother, i wont recomend building one if your computer is really bad, and even if you dont lag from all the summoning, lots of other people in ur party or in ur game will and they will be really P.Oed at you. They are a funny class to use, but if you are playing alone, the first summon is really hard, unless u have a good merc, and especially in hell mode.

i never had any problems with laggin or other ppl getting pissed off couse i summoned alot of minions and about the first kill, if you get to act 5 and save anya just go throuhg the portal and you can summon alot of skellies with out having to do a singel kill :=) on the other hand my merc+golem never seamed to have any prob with killing a few monsters in act 1 :=)

having a slow computer doesn't really effect your summoning lag...have a slow connection will though...all minions and summons are run on the b.net server. That's why everything on the screen locks up except you when you get lagged. and that's why all the sudden you jump to another location on the map...because your computer was either ahead or behind the server.
If everyone in the game has highspeed connections, and is running d2 with a minimum req. computer, there shouldn't be any problems with summon necros in pubby games.
I've played games with 4 or 5 summoners each with a dozen or so summons, and have never had any problems.
