Level 93 PvM/PvP Hammerdin.
Quite 'Ghetto' comparing to most other (Rich) Paladins. Have a low annihilus, mid torch and an Offensive/12FHR GC. The small charms are mainly 20Life, or 11%Fire/5FHR.
I hit 125FCR/86FHR with spirit Sacred rondache and an FCR ring. Max block.
11K Hammer damage, which is pretty low for a hammerdin standard. The other ring slot is a wisp projector 19%, I use it mainly for black souls in baal runs.
3.5K Life, again pretty low for a hammerdin.
Defense is again low, most BVC can hit me without angelic combo, with angelic combo I'm pretty much dead if they get close.

Though I don't have a screen shot to share...I have a request to see one for2 builds...first is the auradin and second is a dream build. I'm interested in both...and would like to see how others have made them to get a idea of how I should go.

well here is my auradin, best character i have, which means i only build bad characters.
Hoj Phase, Dragon Archon.
Dream Grand Crown (low +7 res), Dream Sacred Rond(low +51 res)
Crafter boots for res, have waterwalks but wont use yet.
IK belt for res's. Laying of hands for res's.
Raven Frost for AR, Wisp.
rare ammy, low assassin torch, low low low anni. ect..
All the charms are for Res or atk rating.
Originally i put too much into str (base is at 100) so way high now, someone elses build could put less into str easily and more into vitality.

Arutha, that is a hell of zealot except that the resists are, well, not good. Still, that zealot has sexy defense, insane damage with DS, and sweet life, attack rating etc. Also it has really good CB and leech, so basically this would be a cookie cutter for sure in hell if it had more resists. Anyways good job for putting together this zealot man.
...and second is a dream build. I'm interested in both...and would like to see how others have made them to get a idea of how I should go.

Lol that's actually a pretty good dreamer Crux, it has good damage (a lot more with conviction of course mon), and it has CB, normally such a build could easily solo hell I guess, but of course, don't take it too hard on yourself for the ubers part, I personally don't think any dreamer can do it anyways.

Actually, after much dying, my friends & I managed to do it. I was the one who actually beat on Meph while 2 hammerdins kept the minions off (one with conc and one with salvation).
And yes, I do solo in hell pretty well, as long as I don't run into IM or LI/PI (of course).

Actually,this smite damage isn't anything unusual. Check this setup:
Max smite,holy shield,fanaticism. Upgraded hoz(zakarum base),160 strength.
Shako +2 skills
Enigma +2 skills
Hoz +2skills +2 combat skills
mara's +2 skills
Astreon's +4 combat skills (and a big invisible +dmg bonus)
9xpala combats
torch
anni.
Shrine
Total level of smite and holy shield=47+2
Total level of fanaticism=34

Well astreon's offers small visible damage,only from the +combat skills. Scratch these,add cta instead,there you go.

In the foh s/s I was using a light faceted crystal sword
Yes that character is base str/dex, although I can maintain 71% block if need be

Three single player paladins for all you battle.netters wondering how the "other" side does things with out annulius, iro and all those uber rune words. makes the game a challenge. Challenge is fun.

I'm running a conviction/vengeance paladin in season three, currently level 82. Below I have some screenshots of my gear and stats. Main focuses of this build are reducing damage from enemies (damage reduction / high resists) and lowering their defenses/resistances and then hitting them with high elemental damage. Right now my paladin is running 92% damage reduction, near max resists in hell, 16K+ defense...all the while reducing enemy defense by 116% and their resistances by 130%. % Damage reduction is capped at 50%...
Traded for these this week so now I have to get a couple other things and I will be ready to make another zealer to try out another setup I have in mind.

Nice pally Scriplin, but you have faaar too much DR. If you change your shaftstop to another armor, you can have more resists that way.

Hey man i noticed you dont ahve a hoz ro your hammerdin, how come?
I always thought hoz was better and cheaper fro hammerdions

He wanted to use Spirit to help hit the 125 FCR breakpoint. As for HoZ being cheaper, I don't think so.

i too had a hoz, but gave it up for a 44 res gilded shield for spirit. i lost about 1k dmg, but it is made up from the faster cast.

Use Spirit. To hit 125%FCR with HoZ, not only you'll need a FCR amulet and Circlet, you'll also need a FCR Ring on top of it.
Don't forget the 55FHR on the spirit, and the huge mana bonus.
Spirit in a good base block shield (sacred targe) > HoZ, for both PvM and PvP. (@ 125FCR anyway)

If you can afford a good 20 fcr circlet/amy Hoz easily tops the godliest spirit. If you can't, spirit is a good choice.

Season 2 Hammerdin fixed it up after 1.11 came out... um if the charms look the same they are, in season 2 my friend duped. They are +1 pcombat with 41 life and the small charms are 15/20 life mana the gloves are wizzy gloves from nonladder rings are sojs perfect ap nigma parachs 582 def hoz pmaras a +2 20 fcr 18 res(base) 2 soc circ p hoto eth treks, 6/6/x cta, spirit shild on back hand, 1/20/20/5 anni (i had another one for baaling) torch is 20/18 pali. Stats are all added to vit, i had some weaker gear when my friend botted my hammerdin like a mp enigma and non upg hoz. couldnt use all my gear until like lvl 93. b4 torch i used some str scs
5k life with bo no sage and 17k dmg with concentration.

CoA,Levi and dungo all in one setup? Why? Unless those are angelics over there. But then again 20 ias blood gloves would take you to max zeal and can have big defense too,together with,life,cb,dex etc, leaving room for ber ber in coa. Armor could be eth zod gladiator's bane that gives higher defense than levi and cbf too. CoA,Levi and dungo all in one setup? Why? Unless those are angelics over there. I just wish it had some more defense on it. I upgraded it twice from coronet to diadem which i think resulted in 20 more def

I mean I use Hel rune + scroll of tp to clean out the axe, then I made another death, cleaned it out with hel made death in it agian...... 4 times.
Would it not be better to get 4x Zerkers instead and even if they all blow, trade all 4 for a perfect one?

Depends on realm prices. Eth 5sock zerkers may be more expensive than gul+vex in some realms.

The point is that the person then uses a new batch of runes to re-make the rune word in hopes of better stats. For instance, if one had a particuarly nice eth berserker axe(say a superior with 15% ed) and made a BotD that yielded a low ed%, he might want to try again for a higher ed%, and thus higher damage.
This is my level 88 Zealor. I use 390% Ebotdz, Fort Armor, Gore Riders, Verdungos, Sanctuary Runeword Shield, Guillames Helm, Draculs, Angelic Ammy/Ring and a Ravenfrost. I do 7.2k max damage. My resist are ok, but I think I need more life. Hows it look?

Stormlash requires only 77 dex,max block requires way more btw. Good idea to remake,you can easily save 60 stat points that will go to vita,that's 180 life.
yea im re doin. I can also get away with base strength of 95 vs my current 135, and I could def use a lot less dex.

This is my level 84 zealer. It uses ebotdz, fort armor, guillames face, draculs, verdungos, gore riders, angelic ammy, angelic ring, ravenfrost and a sanctuary shield. It does 7k max damage with 8k AR, 14k defense with holy shield and has 1600 life. My resist are low, but after I do anya 3 times they will all be 47 in hell. I need a CTA and I will really have a lot of life. What do you think, hows it look?

And second I have noticed some of the really good pallys here have about 3k-5k but my pally only has 2.3 k. My gear is shako,lightsabre, (I know it sucks but I still haven't been able to get a good weapon.) exile, (my pride and joy) coh, maras, gores, verdungos, dracs, bul-kathos, and ravenfrost with 4-2 cta and splendor on switch...so how can I boost my life? And damage too cuz I'm only doing about 1.7k with smite (Although I do like my max resists :P). help me please.

The way to boost ur smite damage is to get a fort and use fanaticism, with a good one handed weapon and maxed hs and aura u should be able to hit 7-8k damage.

You are way off. You can't reach that number without grief really. Even with the use of a perfect +damage redeemer, lvl 40 smite/hs, 31 fana, perefect steelrend,fortitude,phoenix shield, I don't see how you can top 7k damage. Unless you use a might merc with pride, but this is not realistic really.

In my book both weapons are very good mannered. Especially venom on grief ,not only it has so small damage and duration to be of any effect,it also reduces the effectiveness (duration) of any poison damage charms you may carry. My only explanation for this is that east zealots,instead of grabbing the opportunity to build around grief ,they exiled it because it makes the rest of the weapons (besides EDC and eth runemaster) obsolete.

It isn't really good,it is a temporary solution(till i gamble/find a good 2 sock or craft the ultimate at last). From memory it has 256 defense/7% deadly/53 life/visionary mod/2% ll...

It is quite nice for pvm,but angelics aren't needed there. For pvp,you should be hitting 2.1k life without bo, have 28k+ defense and at least 20k ar...And 45%-50% damage reduction of course.

Gear is top secret :) I use more than 40% deadly strike.
grand charms are AR/max/life or AR/Life grands
smalls are AR/life or max/life/ar etc :)

It is 15% superior.
It is a Perfect statted Fortitude :)
I did duel with that armor :)
Pvm was eth Cara/eth wire fleece/non eth fort.

So long as you only zeal vs zeal duel, you will get alot of use out of it.
Zealots do not hit eachother many times, so the dura goes down very slowly.
Eth Glad Bane has 111 dura, that is practically not able to be used that much lol

Maybe try switching off your gear for some +3? For example, the helm, the amulet, etc.

You can hit 18k on west if you use VB.

Instead of using Fort and Hoz, I use enigma and Phoenix, which still gives me 50dr. I have Angelics in the stash for zeal duels, cuz the AR is pretty useful.
The charms you're looking at is a 37x 3/xx/20 sc, 20/14 Ptorch and 20/20/5 Anni. I have a CoH sitting around for castor duels, and grief whenever I need to smite those who has crazy block against my zeals.
Amazingly, he clears pubbie duels

This is the first hammerdin I built, just lvled a few days ago too :) Didn't know much about block when I started him a long time ago, so I've stuck with pure vit all the way and I get by really good with it anyways. Could've gotten away with base str too when I first built if I had an anni, but I put on a CoA a while ago and I have just enough str to use it if when I switch to BO. I'm gonna remake him for next season.

My build is an auradin that makes use of Holy Fire and Holy shock, while running conviction. It makes use of the aura stacking available on the items (i.e., HoJ, Dragon, Dream, Dream). It is based on these two guides, with variations on my part:

The stats currently are the same in the screenie. I can wack him and screenie that if you are really interested in base stats. He uses charge primarily, but I put one point zeal which with plus takes it to 5 hits.
My guy is PvP oriented but is entirely viable in PvM.
Equipment:
Dream hat, Dream Shield, Dragon armor, Hand of Justice crappy sword (will switch it out eventually), Metalgrid, Verdungo's, Raven x 2, Tearhaunch boots, Dracs.
The unfortunate aspect of this build is that it is very gear specific.

I do believe the Angelic Combo is also an alternative but I have not chosen that path as I feel Metalgrid’s resistances are unmatchable. Hence, I do not mention the Angelic set in this guide as a choice.

I have a few more into strength to allow me to maintain the shield/helm while not wearing dragon. Need versatility in PvP. In PvM you probably won't need that kind of gear changes and with my calculations you could probably get away with almost base strength.

Angelic combo is when you put Angelic ring and Angelic ammy together (the level 12 set) they provide you with a solid chunk of AR. That what the reference is to.

considering he's using only the HF aura, hoj will definately be a better choice to boost up the aura over a stormlash with 5/5 facet. hoj pb is faster but does less dmg as well as indes while a hoj zerk does more dmg and breaks faster. (also has more range)

uber smiter (http://img167.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot069vo9.jpg) - this char really isnt that special, i just use it to do ubers and thats about it...it does the job pretty good so i'm not that concerned in investing a whole lot for better gear. most of the charms are for res i think; hes using a last wish pb and a hoz; i think i may switch out the dracs sometime if i ever craft a nice pair with str and ias, dracs arent needed rly but they dont hurt. i recently gave him an act 2 holy freeze merc with an obedience thresher - so far he works pretty good, with a kira's and fort he can survive meph pretty well i've found, i only have to feed him a juv or 2 when he gets really clustered.
Got bored so I started re-rolling my zealers weapon.

I have a lvl 64 frost zealot who's doing ok. Low-end gear, need to work on res in Hell (only 34 light and psn), but doin alright. No piz to show right now, but I have a request. This my dreamer. I love this build. He is able to kill every monster fast and he is great in hunting down organs and annis. He has got a faith merc to hit the 4fpa zeal. For the Ubers he removes his dreamer gear for natalya helm and gris' shield and grief for stormlash. Here are some pics.

No, he uses, most likely that is, a EUSCNL specific, bugged belt that gives 20% PDR among with other mods. And with that, he is at 51% PDR. Damn, he sure worked that Hammerdin well.

Yeah the AR is bit low, because i have no charms at all. Only anni and books in inventory. But the AR never been an issue in pvm, with that ar i have like 70% chance to hit hell baal, if i remember right.

As long as you have a 85-95% chance to hit a non boss monster in act5 hell, your AR is ok.
12k is nice PvM AR.

Botd is 411 ed / 15 life leech.
It would be possible to get lil higher damage with perf 460 ed phoenix, some kinda ed helm and steelrends. But i'm pretty satisfied to my damage.
My phoenix have only 375 ed.

I actually maxed holy shield, and I have a lvl 18 conviction with no points in it I get it from cta.

Well if this is the right formula:
Smite Damage = [Shield Damage + (Damage +x) + (Holy Shield Damage)]*[1 + (Strength + (+x% Enhanced Damage))/100]
Then my smite damage is 9435-9482.

Hmm. Your numbers seem much higher than mine. Even if I ignore the Smite damage difference simply assuming that your Grief has higher +Dam than mine, my FoH calculations seem off. I didn't think the extra couple of points saved from the +Conv on your scepter would make that much of a difference haha... I only calculated 3.5k on my V/T build, with optimization at level 90. Even if I go to 91 and have the 3 extra saved points I'm only at about 4k.
EDIT: You wouldn't happen to be wearing Griffon's in that screenshot would you?

Weapon: Doom in Glorious Axe (I've also got BotD in an Ogre Maul which does slightly more damage, but I enjoy the HF aura from Doom)
Armor: Enigma in Chaos Armor
Helm: Undead Crown upgraded elite socketed w/ Tal for 80% poison resist (F/C/L are taken care of by Sanctuary)
Gloves: Frostburns upgraded elite
Boots: Goreriders upgraded elite
Belt: currently String of Ears 'cause I don't have anything better
Amulet/rings: Angelic Wings/Angelic Halo for AR and Manald Heal
BTW It's a SP build so no Torch or Annhilus, my charms are mostly Mana with a few AR and resists

Hehe I see you took my advice on CoA socketing.
I have gear very similar to yours, except I was planning on wearing Spirit on my CtA/FoH switch and using Dracs. I also have a nice Rare amulet I was thinking of using but now that I think of it I'd probably gain more life from wearing Mara's. I also planned on using (Legit!) Rare boots with FRW/FHR/CR/LR/7Dex.
So concerning damage the only differences I see would be from your HoZ+Facet... makes more sense I guess. Your Smite damage still seems higher than mine though, maybe I'm miscalculating.

I get 130 more life with spirit, but with hoz I get about 500 more dmg and 11% higher chance to block.
about the smite dmg I think I may have calculated it wrong, I have 171 str, up'd hoz (46-46 dmg), lvl 45 smite (675%ed), lvl 34 fanta (611%ed), lvl 45 holy shield (157-160 dmg), grief (+399).
now I am getting:
(46 + 157 + 399)*(1 + 1.71 + 6.75 + 6.11) = 9373 min dmg
(46 + 160 + 399)*(1 + 1.71 + +6.75 + 6.11) = 9419 max dmg

Hi, I am currently working on my hammerdin but i dont know what the gear for him looks like or how to make it unless i see if its a runeword or not (Btw i am still semi-new to rune words)

Gear is all you guys are going to get for now, haha. And that's only my GENERAL set up..
Skill points // Overall res // Total HP/MP // Stat placement = all can be determined by just looking at my stat menu = you guys can have fun with that.

If I put the MF gears on my other hammerdin (PvP, high stats anni, torch and cta, base strength and quite a bit of invested dexterity), I can hit max block with 3K+ life.
My MF is around ~480%, or something like that, without any gear switch. All the charms in the inventory are plain 7%MF charms, some with additional but useless mods.

This v/t is more foh oriented where as my other one which I have posted screenies of before in this thread is more smite oriented. Pretty much the same exact gear on the two v/t's except that all the stats are worse on this one. This v/t also ended up with a lot less life than my other v/t since the lifers on this one range from only 14 to 29. With this setup I have 50%dr, 86% fhr, max'd res, 6fpa smite w/ zerker, and lvl 25 conv. If I calculate my actual smite dmg it comes out to 6973-7009 dmg.
I can also take a trip back to the stash to put on the foh gear if I don't feel like trying to smite; ie vs. a hammer pally, which looks like this:

Did you go base str and dex with this build? I am making a T/V and was looking into base str but i dont know if it will work since i usually make it to 85 and not 90.

Where as the other v/t is more smite oriented this one is more foh oriented so I max'd foh, holy shock, and holy shield. Put in enough pts to have a lvl 25 conv and have been dumping the rest into fantacism which I think I need 3 more lvl's to max.
