Hi people!

Today i have made one trade, but i am very very suspicious that i have ripped my head off with it...
It comes word, about a pair of jewels 27 max dmg.
One of them i got for free from a friend, the other one from a trade - i took it for nat's mark :grin: !
Well, i know that those kind of jewels worth a lot, but nobody wasn't sure what can be their price. I was trying to trade them on battle.net for more than thirty (30) days, but nobody was interested in them. Only 3 crap offers from "naps" - nothing serious.
And today, a guy offered me Vex rune for both. I told mysellf:"Finally!". And the trade was done...

But, please, tell me how bad was that trade for me? What those jewels really worth? I am asking like for 748 time that question, including and the price check thread on these boards.

I am assuming they were both lvl 50 req? Vermillion jewels of Carnage? If so, they are both very, very rare. At +27 max they are not perfect, +30 is perfect. I would have guessed they might have fetched more, but if you have tried to sell them and that was the best offer, thats all the market will bear. It's a fairly small market of people that will want them so it is probably a buyers market more than a sellers. If you got something you really wanted out of the trade I wouldn't feel too badly about the deal.

The trick with things like those jewels (extremely rare but somewhat low demand... essentially the only market for those jewels is people making HLD Zerkers or Chargers) is to keep your eye out for someone who's desperate for them rather than spending the time to actively advertise. I've found that if I go around schlepping a charm or jewel I get significantly less than if I just happen to see someone who needs it, because they've usually been searching for it for quite some time and are willing to overpay. At the same time, however, you may never come across such a person.

I would say each jewel alone would fetch at least Vex, probably a hr, but in the grand scheme of things I don't think you made out too badly.
