Hi everyone, my name is Johnny Jeurissen, I'm 24 years old and from Belgium.
I really like Charmed (read: the girls and the special effects) and I came accross this website: http://www.starfury.co.uk/ (the Witching Hour)
Now, Rose McGowan (my personal favorite witch) is going to be there for sure, so I'm going for sure as well
Why I'm making this thread: I'm looking for people who are going as well, since none of my friends is interested AND hasn't got the money to tag along.
I sent an email to Sean Harry (answers any questions one might have) concerning a more detailed dayplanning, list of actors and ways of payment.
That's about it, I'm looking forward to reading some nice replies (espescially from people who've already been on a convention with celebrities)

Mmmm... Alyssa Milano... mmmmm
I hate Charmed. Which kind of makes me wonder why I'm posting in this thread...
Rose McGowan FTW.

I hate Charmed too. I have never seen more than one episode per season, and after posting here I watched the Season Finale (Series Finale?) tonight. It re-affirmed why I really dislike the show.
That said, I used to have a crush on Alyssa Milano, back in the Who's the Boss? days.

Did any of you bother to read this line?
Why I'm making this thread: I'm looking for people who are going as well.
I didn't make this thread to say: I like charmed/ I hate charmed/ I like that person/ I hate that person.
This may sound a bit rude, but if you have no intention of going to the convention, why the hell do you post in this thread???
EDIT: if you want to express your hatred towards the show or an actor/actrice, make your own thread, this one is for people that want to go to the convention (and thus like the show and the actors/actrices)

That's going to make for a pretty short thread. Be grateful for the bumping, I say.

I'll only forgive you for the heinousness in bold if English isn't your first language.

Yeah, lately I seem to mix up all languages with French words, and I don't even like French

I dunno, I think 'actrices' kind of fits the theme of this thread. Witches, and the word reminds me of cockatrices, a nasty-looking wizardly concoction if there ever was one.
Have fun at the convention, Dawnmaster.
Shut up Arb, I checked after I posted...
Just technically though, that doesn't necessarily mean his first language isn't English, a few people on this board are expats.

What? This isn't bloody stream-of-consciousness or word association!

Oh yes, it is, if it doesn't say in the thread instructions that you can't word associate.

I always liked Piper the best. I found her more grounded than the other witches. Even before she married Leo, she was the more grounded character.
Even though this is way off topic, I cannot stand Rose. She was engaged to Brian Warner..and I really don't like him at all. I think my distaste for her stems from that.
Personally, I would have much rather seen Prue overtake Phoebe regarding ratings and on-air time. I liked the character Prue. I also liked Cole/Balthazare (sp??). Julian was eye candy. I can't stay awake for Nip/Tuck.

Well, not that I like the looks of Brian Warner, I've grown fond to his music (like almost all other music  )
Sure, Rose has a weird taste for things in life, but nevertheless, I find her fascinating, and I can't quite put my finger on it what it is :wink3:
Prue was awesome, that's the least we can say (I still don't understand how the strongest of the three and the one with the most powers got kicked out of or left the show???)
Julian is a great actor, I actually hope he'll be there as well (on websites his alter ego is written as "Balthazor")
I don't suppose you wanne tag along? Holly might be there

Flux. I'm still checking finances etc. But I'll let you know in like 2 days if I'm going or not.
Testy are we?
Don't tell me I can't eat a whole bag of sugar! You're not the boss of me!

Funny thing you mention the bold thingy, atm, in Belgium, you can watch "Malcolm in the Middle", immediatelly followed by "Charmed"
EDIT: looking forward to it Gaz :jig:

Julian is a great Australian actor
IIRC, Charmed was Alyssa Milano's project from it's inception (I believe she is the Executive Producer), and she didn't take too kindly to Shannon Doherty's demand for a salary higher than her own. Who's the Boss? Alyssa is.

Meh? If she is, why the heck did she 'gave' her own character the crappiest powers???
Btw: besides Gaz, no one else interested in the Convention sofar?
