MF gear

What would be the ideal mf gear to have max resist in hell? Names please, right now I got Homo P diamond, Mara 30%, shako and everything else is mf. so i just started hell and got like 4% resist LOL help me out here guys and gals.

For a summoner you don't need to have maxxed resists in hell...in fact getting maxxed resists with mf equipment is gonna be a bit difficult. Maybe if you use a torch and anni combo depending on the resists from both you could come close.

is there any one resist I should get high like light or cold maybe for baal?

You can use Tal's armor instead of Skullders. 88MF and 40% resist cold,fire,lightning. You will loose +skill though.

The only resist you need to worry about...is lightning I'd say only because if you plan on MFing hell baal...you have black souls and some other lightning monster to contend with...though that's why you have DV and even mages for. Because there are times when I try to cast DV at the very top of te screen that it doesn't work on the black souls...but my mages makes short work of them for me...along with my skeletons.

I would only put tal's armor on my waheed along with the helm...I can't stand to look like barney...and that leaves skullder's and engima as the only options for MF armor.

I call it the new summoner cycle, first you fuss all over the place getting skill adders, or resists, then you start hanging on the MF, "just" for certain bosses and/or areas, but softcore at least all usually end up in total MF gear with a switch for casting skells etc.

If you are getting hit as a necro you are doing something wrong anyway. ;)

Why a 3 Ptopaz helm, when you could PTopaz a Shako, get the same mf plus other nice mods & skills?

Nothing wrong with a good combo of skills & resists. 600 mf does you no good if you're dying all the time & the runs are taking 3 times as long as it would if you had 300 mf & max resists.

wiz(75) + homo(59) + 3 x anya quest (30) = 164 res :grin: -100 (hell) = 64 res , put in a few sc and u are set :lipsrsealed:
