I just found the in my CD binder and decided to start playing it again. Obviously, all my accounts/chars were gone, and I'm starting from scratch. It's a lot of fun in it's own sense. I just started a hammerdin, even though high-level equipment's going to be a problem later on.

The last time I played were days when I hunted Annis. You might have seen me selling a bunch of unid ones back in the day, but I lost interest in the game soon after that. So basically, I've been out of touch since around late summer 2004.

Anyways, what's changed since then? I noticed some wacked out stuff in 1.11, but any significant item value changes/issues that I should know about? Significant nerfs/powerups?

If you want to point and laugh at a poor man's attempt to get off the ground, just /m *Xeller. It's not like I'm going to be doing MF runs any time soon.

The only significant thing with 1.11 was the addition of the new Uber quest, from which you can get the unique large charm Hellfire Torch. You can find more information here: http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=372426

So no significant nerfs or upgrades? I mean, I sure as hell don't want to start this hammerdin without knowing that it's the new Javazon...

There were no changes in 1.11 besides the new quest/new runewords/new item(s). Hammerdin is still the most overpowered PvM char :rolleyes:

Skill charges bug was removed, so no more marrowbug.
Eth upgrade bug is new, so mercs often wear "Stone" at 4k+ def.
No significan´t changes for hammerdin though and apart from javas with "Infiniy" merc, no one as poweful ( and boring ) as hammerdins. :grin:
