I've read around that there's a successful smiter set of equipment that is extremely cheap. I've used the search function to try and find it (way too vague), and I don't want to search a billion posts for it. Does anyone know it right off the top of their head/have a link to the thread?

I felt ashamed of that thread I started when I saw someone posted a guide on how to do ubers with items that worth less than an Um in total. The most expensive piece was treachery and ravenfrost.

I found a alma negra shield a while back. I've been using it for smite, and as my shield overall. Keep/trade?

My zealot is using an alma negra as well in general pvm,and sancturay in tristram. If you have the resists keep using it,second best choice after an exile for pvm.

4 p diamond'd elite pal shield with resists already will pretty much take care of it in hell. I found a 45% resist all sacred rodache with 4 open sockets and after I put 4 diams in it had 121% resist all! Pretty sweet indeed for poor people.
