View Full Version : Little help with socketing my smiter gear

Alright so i have all the gear i need but i have 2 spare sockets in my helm and hoz respectively. What do i want to put in there? I have max res and do about 1500 smite dmg. I do not have max dr so should i just work to add dr with ber runes or should i look else where with something like 40 15's? And do ed jewels even help smite? Any way get back to me with the best option to socket in my gear

If you are pvp and that 2 soc helm u are talking about is coa then u shud ber it. You dont really need 40 15s. Most smiters use grief pb with fant so that doesn't need anymore speed and you don't need any more enhance damage if you use grief+holyshield+fant+smite. The damage reduce wud be much more useful.

Ok well this is a pvm uber type smiter and i am talking about a guillaume's face with 1 socket. and btw since i am a pvm uber smiter plus poor i am using a ebotdz. so what do i do now?

Ebotz is fine. Its not the best weapon for smite but it will suffice. As for an uber smiter you don't need to socket ur stuff with expensive stuff. Your main sources of survival will come from resists and life tap. Socketing an um into the helm and pdiamond in hoz will be a much cheaper and more useful alternative. An then the damage you do will be coming from crushing blow.

well meph has conviction. It will lower your resist by a hundread something

even though i already have p res?Meph's Conviction will lower your resist by 125%, so any bit of resists help a lot.
Don't think just because you have maxed resists while standing in town you'll still have maxed resists when facing Meph.

of course i know this but even so doesnt dr or damage have a viable argument for it?

Hell in uber trist resists , life tap and crushing blow= number 1
all the others things are good but then you don't have to have them godly
