Someone help me out

I'm thinking of building a smiter for doing the uber trist and I've been reading a lot of diffrent tips and stuff here on the forum so I think I know pretty good how to build a good trist runner. But I still need some help

First, could someone tell me if I need to change something in my gear I have

Upped HoZ with p diamond
Guillames probably I'll put an um in it
Draculs
2x Raven
Highlords
Gore
Thunder Gods

Now the problem is the weapon and the armor. I could probably get a forti and a grief which I've heard should be great. The thing is that getting them would take too much time and I think that I could do it with other alternatives. I have a 1 socked heavens light but i also have the runes to do a Cresent Moon which I think would be better, or? In case I go with the cresent moon what weapon should I do it in? And for the armor I've heard that duress is a good choice, are there any other good armor I could use?
Also do you guys think my res will be enough? I don't have too many great charms but I guess I could get some res charms and stuff. And one last thing, please what skills to max for a smiter? Fana, smite, holy shield and?

Armor:
Best = COH (massive resists)
Good = Duress (CB - little bit of res)
OK = up'd um'd viper (50 res aint shabby on a perf)

Weapon:
Best = Grief PB (obviously)
Good = heav light (shael'd) or Stormlash
OK = black runeword/l-saber/azure/etc...

Skills: (for a pure smiter of course)
20 fanat
20 holy shield
20 smite
rest into defiance
1 in salvation/med/redem/holy freeze/other party-pvp friendly auras

rest looks fine

well, stormlash is a ladder only item, so if you are ladder, they arent very expensive (look in trade forums?)

if you are non-ladder, they can get pretty expensive (it being ladder only and all)

ask in trade value forum, i honestly don't know

all i know is that its cheaper than a grief... by a lot...

Stormlash is a universal item and not ladder only. On europe scl it costs around mal+ to 2 ist,depending on stats.
My favorite armor and best imo for trist is fortitude,
favorite weapon is grief pb,good stormlash,ok redeemer.


Favorite char for running (or ruining hehe ) uber trist is Fanatic zealot,1pt in smite.

20 zeal
20 sacrifice
20 fanaticism
20 holy shield
rest in defiance or blessed aim. I smite the bosses and zeal the minions,success and speed are guaranteed :)
