Help my hardcore uber pally

I'm interest in doing ubers. I was wondering what were the best skills and items for hardcore. Thanks for any imput.:scratch:

for uber trist, smiter's ALL THE WAY
gear SHOULD be(at least to me and my friends it works) as follows:
drac's
vedungos
gores
hoz/exile---hoz better for offense
Pb grief
fort
maras
bk rings/ravens/w.e
2x ber coa
now...the most GODLIEST ITEMs OF EM ALL, A BELT FULL OF FAT PURPLES!!!!!!

Replace the BerBer CoA with a Guillaume's Face for more crushing blow and killing speed. Make up the lost resists through charms.

take the gui...uhh. W/E face idea, and if ur despertely stupid or just plain desperate, u can socket it with ber/jah/shael/um W/E

I think in HC, gear like that is hardly attainable.

he said uber pally, he never EVER mentioned anything about wether he had the gear or not.
waht im getting at is, he never said anything about how expensive the gear is, he just said the best possible build, we gave him the best possible build, so BOOOO YA

Just use the search function since there are already a million threads about this. When you see things in the suggested setup like 'Grief' and HoZ (assuming you can't afford these) replace them with things like 'Black'/Heaven's Light and 'Sanctuary'/'Spirit'. Also make sure you've got a friend with a BO Barb.

My HC smite paly does uber trist quickly with very cheap gear.

Black flail (wand with lifetap charges on switch)
Guillame's face
goblin toes (that's 100% cb there)
spirit shield
ravenfrost ring, dwarf star
highlord's ammy (used to use rising sun before i found this)
and laying of hands for gloves

I doubt uber gear would substantially improve killing speed.

Thanks for all the imput. Getting the best gear will not be a problem, I just needed to know what was the best so I can get it. The only other thing is no one mentioned anything about the skills needed.

Enough dex for max block with Holy Shield
Rest into vita
None into energy

hmm... 2 things, black is thul-io-nef right? but im confused about its use...
a smiter doesnt NEED a bo to do uber trist, my friends smiter with decent gear, can do the enitre trist in like 2 minutes, just mass fat purples in ur belt, use charms to improve life/res/stats, and be sure u dont lag, cuz even the slightest lag in uber trist, and gg, may never get past the portal again

hmm... 2 things, black is thul-io-nef right? but im confused about its use...Yes, the formula for Black is Thul+Io+Nef. It's used mostly for the 40% crushing blow.

Be sure you don't lag? What kind of advice is that? Do you and your friend have some sort of foresight that the rest of us lack? It's entirely possible to take a fatal amount of damage down there before you even realize you're lagging. This is Hardcore we're talking about here; you simply don't take chances like that (unless you get off on that sort of thing). I'd rather just ask my friend to come in and BO me, thanks.
