Redemption on Zealot

Hey i'm new here and i have a silly question.

My friend keeps insisting that Redemption will add damage to Zeal since its a synergy of Sacrifice but i dont think thats true.

Zeal has only one synergy that will add damage to it and thats Sacrifice. Any synergy that Sacrifice has will not count towards Zeal because it increases damage based on the level of Sacrifice and not the damage it deals.

Am i right?

ur totally right, and ud be a dumbass to max redemption, zealots max sacrifice, zeal, fanat, hs, and if they're 75+ they start maxing defiance for hs, maxes them better.
IFF(if and ONLY if) u have skills left over AFTER maxing those, pls max salvation

Ya, i was planning on putting some points into Defiance for HS.

Now he says it might not add damage but it will help, lol. I told him i dont see how. If hes thinking of the life/mana it gives from dead enemys thats pretty much useless for a zealot, right? Since Zealots have great leech.

ur on the RIGHT track, unlike ur friend, my lvl 70 zealot has 30+ of each leach, impressive eh?? he makes for an UNSTOPABBLE tank(assuming hes fighting leachables..)and he has good resistances in hell, not maxed, but he doesnt even use a hoz..

Why use redemption, when you have dracul's grasp, exile, and/or last wish. 1 point and +skills is enough.

Edit: Heck, even a life-tap wand from Drognan would do (I bought one of these for my zealot).
