My question for my WW/Trap sin.
Setup 1
max venom
max claw mastery
1 into rest of shadow skills
1 into wof
rest into lightning sentry + synergies
result: 6k ar (this is just an example)
ww dmg: 4k dmg
LS dmg: 3.3k dmg
Setup 2
max venom
1 into claw mastery
1 into rest of shadow skills
1 into wof
rest into lightning sentry + synergies
result: 3.5kar
ww dmg: 3.7k dmg
Ls dmg: 4.5k dmg
As you can see, it's either more AR or more trap dmg. I won't take Claw mastery's EDMG increase since I'm relying on poison/open wound for dmg anyway. Also the critical dmg % won't come into factor since my physical dmg won't be that high.
I might have to swap to angelic combo anyway. Do you guys think more AR/less trap dmg is better or less ar/more trap dmg is better??
Thanks.

Crap. Wrote the wrong thing for the poll
Option #1 is: 6kar/3.3k LS dmg
Option #2 is: 3.5kar/4.5k LS dmg
If a mod can change it :P
I'd go with lower ar, and switch for angelics/chant if you need it. Tough choice, because 3.5k ar seems awfully low, but then, most of your enemies will have ~1k def anyway. Pallies will be fun.

Ya I'll be using angelics since raven/lords or crafted ammy gives horrid ar. I also don't have many spare max/ar/lifers

Hey man, I've got some help full advice for you to consider. When I play a WWsin, I find that I either hit my target with a straight on ww or I don't. Actually, most of the time I don't hit easily. I'd say that 75% of the hits I score in PvP are through the "WW away" tactic. Even against barbs. So, I recommend that you get as much light dmg as you can. They will be coming at you if there are traps firing anyway, affording ample oppertunities to WW away and do extra damage.
Try different combinations of shadow/trap gcs. I suggest not putting to much points into Venom because that itself can be prebuffed with +12 skills, even more.
+3 shadow skill ammy
+3 shadwow skill helm
+3 shadow skill claws (2x)

Both of those stats seem pretty low, regardless of the setup. O.o
But against paladins/barbs/melee druids, you'll almost always have AR that's either equal to or less than their defense, and against most other classes your AR will be a nice bit higher. So in the end, unless it's using Fools or Angelics, your AR total isn't incredibly important. Get that trap damage.
i would use the 1 claw mastery setup, and then try and shop a fools claw with +LS at hell anya (2 socs for 2 x um). with a fools claw in general, even with the low claw mastery, your AR should be respectable.
imo, hybrids should stay away from angelics, since you guys really need to stackup on as much +skills as you can. with stuff that you can't hit with a fools, its probably better that you don't whirl over them anyway (smiters/paladins/barbs), and should just let the traps force them to you while you whirl away.

totally agree with you here. 1 mast and fools does the job.
angelics is a wast imo on this build not even vs barbs i uses these as i find a fools claw + 2 ravens or raven+ fcr ring and fcr amu much more realistic
Also as said a fools claw is the way foward vs high defence chars like barbs or smiters.
Also i believe 1 point claw mastery is enough with gear + skills.
i find vs smiters anyway they usally chase as u have traps + mb working on them so whirlaway usally nets alot of hits. i would personnaky go for that trap dmg i did this with vmy newer build and works well.
