Hi!

Well, i call it a bug anyways.
I am sure this has been mentioned before, but i would like to know if there is a solution to it.

I've noticed that if you are wearing charms with +str to be able to use your armour, the graphics on the armour is bugged and the character looks like he is wearing nothing. This only applies to what other people can see, everything looks just fine on your own screen.

Now, first time i noticed this was when i was using strenght charms until i could get a hold of perfect dracul's. Once i got them and got rid of the charms, there was no graphical problems. Then i removed "hel" from armour and socketed it with UM and got a Torch to make up for it. Now the bug is there again, since the torch is a charm with +str.

Never noticed this before i had 2 Cd-keys and was able to see my own chars.

Any way to fix this, or should i just stop letting it bother me? :P

I vote for not letting it bother you. It's not just armor, but any item. You may run into an Amazon who looks like she's throwing arrows, because her bow doesn't display. Just a quirk of the game that's unlikely to be fixed, since it doesn't affect gameplay at all.

Cheers!

The only way to "fix" this bug is to put some points into strength so your char can wear his/her gear without the aid of +str items.

Hehe, yeah - well that won't happen ofcourse.

Thanks for replies tho, won't let myself be bothered by this anymore..

You can't even add str or dex to fix it. Since the person who needs to add str/dex is the other player.

Ya, but you don't see yourself naked, just like the emperor's new cloths.

I don't think the emperor plays anymore. He's more into WoW now.

Ya, but you don't see yourself naked, just like the emperor's new cloths. The OP has two comps and notices his char is naked. From one char's point of view, he appears fine. From char #2's point of view, he looks naked. If he were to stick a few points in str and "fix" it, he would then appear fully geared to char #2.

I still prefer my Maulless Armorless Glowing IK Barb (he's using a torch, btw). Quite funny, looking at him at my second comp. Am I going to shove ~10 extra str into him? No.

I'm not suggesting that he shove points into str just so he can not appear naked anymore. The OP asked if there was any way to "fix" the str bug; as far as I know, adding into str is the only way to "fix" it. Am I suggesting that he actually do it? Of course not.
