Decrep + clay golem+ mad skeletons. Teleport right on top of him & let your skeletons & merc just beat the $%*! out of him.

When I killed Baal, I always removed hitpoints from him. That seems to work nicely; eventually he'll transmute into a pile of items.
Skelemancer: I used Decrepify and Gumby to control him. When I ran up to him I took a short detour towards the lower edge of the screen to encourage my skellies to not get stuck in the right area of the map. I ran past Baal towards the top of the map to encourage skellies to follow and surround him, and I repositioned Gumby (usually from the top) in whatever gap remained (so his previous position could be occupied by the merc or another skelly)
Decrep, Gumby and Cold mages meant that Baal wouldn't really do anything.
Bonemancer: basically the same: Decrepify and Gumby. My merc had an Insight weapon, so no cold damage here. Other than that I had the summon that had survived the previous map (no mages, usually --- I didn't bother making them for the bonemancer, just weak skellies and revives. Skellies usually didn't survive baals minions, and I usually revived the minions, rather than making new skellies). Most of the Revives would do their disappearing act when from the entrance to baal. though.

Guillaume's Face + Rattlecage + obediance on merc = 100% CB.
Decrp + Gumby to fix him on one place.
Then just wait.

yep the decrep+gumby combo wile whatever I got (skelies, merc, magi, revives) jumps him and steals his wallet... but Im tempted in trying to have him kill himself with bone prison and Iron maiden wile I gumby him... anyone know if this will work?

ya teleporting right on top of him with skellies and merc, then decrypify usually does it in about 18 seconds.

Depends on your equipment and skills really...if you use revives then just use the ones from round 3 of the minions...they take down baal fast enough along with skeletons and mages. Obviously...using beast will further help out as well.
If you want to do the actual damage yourself...then you need to have alot of crushing blow and deadly strike.
HoS
decap + grumy is a must.
after that it depends on your char.
boner, bone prision/ wall then spam spear / spirit.
poison / summoner, standback and let merc/skely get to it, spice it with poison.
on my melee / summoner, I tele on top of baal with all the crew, then change to passion and zeal it with my CB.

What they all said, but adding it is KEY that your skells be able to surround Baal, if he is at an edge or worse gets in a corner, too few of your minions will be able to attack vs his regeneration rate and it can get very slow going. I also like to stay behind Baal if I can.
My merc is the BIG damage guy too, so its important that he is close enough, otherwise no hits means not only no damage etc. but no leech. If he dies, away goes the might aura etc. I make a TP and head for town fast and just hope I don't lose too many revives and skells getting his Aura going again.

Gumby (http://www.presentationresources.net/images/gumby_bendables.jpg) is the nickname for a clay golem.

Clay golem slows monsters, and actually takes something of a beating sparing merc etc., with some cold damage from mages, and decryp even Hell Baal is barely moving, and not doing much damage to anybody.
