for a zealot, I always here about grief for dueling zealots. Eth Death Cleavers are worth a lot but are they that good?

If the ed on ethereal zoded death cleaver is high enough (27x%) it is a great option.

As long as it has been available, edc has been an excellent weapon choice for a pvp zealot and stilll is even in the presence of grief

Grief supplanted edc as the weapon to whine about just as edc did to botd, and botd did to 09 weapons before it in early .10 dueling

The nice thing about an edc is that with it you can go toe to toe with a grief zealot and win, and look much more stylish than him while doing it; not to say that grief and edc are the only viable zealot weapons but a high end cleaver would be my fav choice, save an insane rare

The most stylish win is killing my opponent with a phase blade (grief of course), just sexy. I personally don't like the look of a zerker (EDC, EBOTD, or grief whatever), looks like a tiny hatchet used to cut cows' throat.

Anyways, EDC can indeed come up with some pretty sick damage. So use it if you get one, really no need to trade for grief.

Hmm...most people refer to it as "lame" rather than "stylish". :undecided:

Well, at least it makes a strong point about the opponent.

Lol PB looks like a huge sword a strong hero would use to slay monsters and stuff. So it looks awesome when someone gets pk'd by it.

EDC looks WAY cooler than any grief

... and thats all that matters in pvp, right?

I'd go with the tiny hatchet theory. Not that looks matter to me,I'm using several berserker axes but they do look ugly imo.Really uninspiring. Phase blades are my preferance.

For looks: swords > axes

For general style: edc > grief (Of any kind)

C'mon man, a zerker is one of the ugliest weps in the whole universe. How could you possible think it's more stylish than a pb? I mean let's compare the following:
zerker: looks small in hand, like a 3 year old baby toy.
pb: looks huge and shiny in hand, and sharp as hell too, very sexy.
zerker: in your inventory it looks like it's roughly made by a novice iron smith, it's edge is not round and smooth, its metal part looks like stained. it's wooden handle is stupid (wood breaks easy), and the handle itself is not straight and even in all parts of its length.
pb: godly pointy top, shiny crystal body, just too nice.

As far as I know, Grief is BM in zeal duels.

i guess master is right, on zeal vs. zeal duels, grief would give the user of it the upper hand for sure... maybe not so if they both have one though?

nothing compares to the DAMAGE of a grief, but who really wants a baby blue knife in your hand??

that bad boy shouts masculinity....

Incorrect the most stylish win is killing a chanted grief pb weilding bo'd paladin, enuff times to get him annoyed at getting killed by your botd zealot that he resorts to smiting and calling you a noob.

Grief is bm unless both opponents use grief, its a fair deal then...

EDC is good enough if you have it right now for your zealot, just use it, or should i say...just do it! lol

IMO the most stylish win would be to kill a fanatic zealer using grief with a shock zealer with azurewrath which I did a few times with my ghetto holy shocker on asia ladder.

BM is a controversial issue. A deuped zod botd user with a few psn charms that deal more damage than that venom from a legit Lo grief will be good mannered then? How messed up can that be?

But the thing is, I don't see anything wrong with it if both player worked their way to get what they have (ie. not from ebay/shops)... My enigma and such don't just pop out from nowhere, I actually spent quite a considerable amount of time 'earning' those items, even though the runes are likely to be duped.

The d2 economy is tied to dupers and neither you and I have the ability to stop it. In that case just let it be.

And yes, BM is a controversial issue.

I don't disagree jake,I just point the madness in the BM issue. Calling grief bm because of that mininal poison is as cheap as it gets.

Yeah, BM is basically just 'I don't like what you do to beat me, therefore you are cheap'

Funny on what some people label BM as.
