Resistances below 0?

Just looking to see if someone can tell me why my Assassin has under 0 in allresistances when I die. When I wear my armor it still has a negative effect anyone know why?

Are you in Nightmare or Hell ?

In Nightmare you are at an automatic -40 to resist
In Hell it is -100 to resists.

This is subtracted from tyour total resists.

Whatever your resists were in normal, subtract the appropriate amount when in NM, or Hell modes.

To get it back to positive again you need equipment that give resistances.

Also, Anya quests help. They give +10 to all resistances. If you did Anya quests in all 3 levels, then when you die you should have 30, -10 and -70 resistance in Normal, Nightmare and Hell respectively.
