Question on Weapon strength

For a Straight zealer/fanat what is a better weapon, light sabre sword or Baranar star Mace. Also which one would be better for Smite (don’t say Grief I am not that rich)

I would say the lightsabre, as its faster (or is it?) You can use baranars on switch for physical immunes along with vengeance.
For smite or a smiter people tend to use heavens light for the crushing blow.

Bstar is an overall better weap to use for zealer. if you want to smite, look on arreat summit or something for some weapons with IAS / Crushing Blow / Deadly strike, because smite is usually used to kill boss monsters and those are the best way for melee to do so. I know there are a few norm uniques that have 2/3 of those mods and are probably sold by most people.
One that i know of with some good mods is Fleshrender. its got Deadly strike / Crushing blow / open wounds / and prevent monster heal, it's probably dirt cheap anywhere and its got some great smiting mods, even tho its intended for a SS druid.
