MF Question

My mf necro is almost done at level 73 right now, but soon to be 85. I just want to know how much MF% should I get? Right now I'm in the 500 but I have no resist in hell, and thats bad:cry: So what kind of equipment should I be looking for?

1 in all curse and working on CE right now.

Gloves, boots, ammy, and ring all mf.

There's no magic number for MF. Here's a general rule: get as much as you can without sacrificing killing speed and survivalbility.

For most that number lies around the 300.

Good general tip to remember is just have enough MF to still kill effectively. Therefore load up as much MF as you can without obviously putting yourself too much at risk ie resist and killing power.

Are you a summoner? If so, then you resistence shouldn't be too important. Just load up on mf and put a nice wpn on a might merc and smoke enemies with corpse exp.

If you're a bonemancer mfer then you definently need resistence. Enigma would be nice for some mf and teleport would really help. You definently would need some resistence so you might want to consider wizzpike and have gull on switch for some mf.

I get my resists from rares, and a Homunculus, for my MF Summoner. I have 2 rings with resists and a small MF, plus an ammy with MF, +1 to skills, and resists. I'm using gloves that give me 12% MF and various resists. I also use Tearhaunches for boots. The rest of my MF points comes from a ptopaz'd 3 socket tiara, a ptopaz'd 4 socket full plate, and gull. My killing power is fine at the moment, but eventually I plan to replace the plate with enigma (teleport, plus to skills, resists, and MF? Heck yeah :)).

Anyway, my resists are all "ok" (not in the red) minus poison.
