Trangs vs. Uniques

Arrite.. so im makin a PvP poisonmancer. problem is.. i cant decide whats better.

Trang Gloves/Belt/Shield combo
OR
Trang Gloves/Arachs/Homo

I have all those items already.. but I cant decide which one is more effective. what do you guys suggest?

Trangs combo of course... the -15% poison resist. is essential in PvP. :rolleyes:

Even if you want MB, Trang shield is actually still a pretty decent block head. :thumbsup:

for a poison mancer, there is no way you can go wrong with the 3 trangs combo, the damage is much greater than a few + skills

arrite thanks.. so trangs for the win eh? is it still possible for me to reach max fcr (120?) with trangs on?, assumin that im gonna wear 2 sojs and a +2/10fcr amulet

i believe it's 125%, but correct me if i'm wrong.

i haven't played d2 in a while but i don't think it will be possible, even if you used a wizspike. not that it matters, since spamming nova has no real beneficial effects

as you can c, 125%fcr is tuff w/ trang and not worth it for poisonmancer.

Viper only have 30 FCR. There's another way to hit 9 frame cast rate, but then again, giving up Death's Web is something you definately don't want to do.

Helm: 20 FCR circlet
Ring: 10 FCR x 2
Ammy: Crafted 15-20 FCR
Glove/Belt/Shield: Trang combo 20 FCR
Weapon: Wizspike 50 FCR

Total FCR: 125-130.
It's still possible without giving up Nigma.

Yeah, but this way you will be sacrifing HUGE damage w/h Death Web.
