LLD bowazon :)

After finding an very interesting bow, ive decided to make a lld bowazon, level 30 to duel in norm games... mabye will go to ~40 to be nm dueler.

The bow is
10 ias
122 dmg
+1 zon
lvl 30 req black gothic bow

only 10 bow ias is needed in conjunction with twitch + deaths combo to reach last guided bp, so this is cool :)

Not so well.
Mainly because I made a Level 31 Bowazon with nearly exact same gear.

All little 'nublets' would be physical with big crappy shields and just bullrush with their weak weaponry. I thought "I might as well have made a melee" as all I was doing was shootings, knocking back, shooting. Although this is the premise of bowazons it was a waste as I could have killed triple the speed if I had been using a melee weapon.

A few sorceresses managed to kill me as well because instead of the normal shoot and teleport. They realised I was fragile and they got right in my face with orbs.

So ill be making a pvm bowa now.. go go lvl 90 :)

sure thing, but ive made this exact same build in the past, so ill tell you what ill expect =D

Gonna go with (Pure Pvm bowa, solo)

Angelic ring + ammy
Rare mana steal fr/lr ring
Deaths combo
Twitch
100 dmg 20 ias rune bow
30 r/w 10 fhr fr/lr boots, gtoe in 1 person games
Howltusk as always


As for stats, im not sure yet.

Enough strength for bow, then either every stat to dex, or a few to vita then the rest to dex.

It will kill VERY quickly in hell act's 1-3, slowing down in big games and tough monsters in act4. It will still be viable and a lot of fun, though

Question- Why would this runebow be more effective then your 122 gothic? or an even higher damage gothic?

Rune bow can reach a faster attack speed, multishot with a gothic bow is not nearly as effective as with a rune or double bow. This is based on personal experience using a 150dmg 20 ias gothic, a 110 20 ias rune, and a 85 20 ias double bow

Double bow is *the best* but it would mean using sigs boots + gloves and goldwrap, i prefer deaths combo with a rune bow, especially since i plan to cs

Without ias, yes it is junk. I have a 112 rune bow with no ias that I can't give away.

why howltusk pvm?

the knockback doesnt work with the multiarrow (the one which shoots x missiles at one time, the other attack which adds damage sucks IMO) I think?

also leech seems not to work with multiarrow?

isnt a biggin's bonnet better pvm? 30% more damage

knockback does work, and it is an ESSENTIAL mod. Leech works, filling up your red and blue bulbs with a single multishot. Biggins blows, if i wanted 30 ed i would use a 3pemerald helm for 30ed + ar
