Also - Dominos has not once asked me or anyone I know for a coupon. We generally just tell them on the phone that we have a 2 for 1 coupon and get a free pizza.

Unfortunately there ARE people quite close to being like that. A few years back I worked with a guy who was into D&D and some other game called Vampire Masquerade I think. So anyways I, along with a few others agreed to learn and give it a shot. He hooked us up with all the materials and in about 2 weeks we were all ready to start. And I must admit it seemed pretty interesting and could be fun......until....
We all met at his house, which didn't exactly have swords on the walls but...it was decorated with other things such as dragon statues, crystal balls and a few assorted marvel figurines here-n-there. The first 30 min. went fine. We all got our characters made, asked a few last minute questions and then it happened. As he (DM) begins telling the opening story he starts changing his voice and "getting into character" I guess you can call it. Well it was weird. Oh and to top it off he threw in sword fighting sound effects with his mouth...I mean I haven't heard sounds like that since I had my Joes slaughtered by Optimus and Bummble-Bee. And that was at least 20 years ago!!!!
Well it got worse because he got annoyed with the majority of us due to we werent doing the voice changing thing or "get into character". Anyways after a little while we all agreed that it just wasn't for us and left. He didnt take it too personal and we were all cool after a few days.
Also I actually love playing Magic the Gathering and every once in awhile I'll stop into the local Sci-Fi to rumage through the "10cent card" bin and I see people there playing D&D and this other game called Warhammer. And they look and sound very similar to those 2 guys in the clip.
So they're out there....they're out there.
it is called role playing.......I have not seen/heard this clip but I shall try and rememeber to. Some take it very in depth, I know a few that are standing at the edge of a very very very deep ditch of fantasy that seem to pull it all back together IRL situations.
Hell one of the most indepth crazy dudes I ever met related to D&D was a freaking Harley Rider for a local bike gang. See this guy IRL he looks and is ready to brawl in an instant but get out those funky dice, some graph paper and he is 12 yrs old and having a freaking blast lost in fantasy!
So ...I wonder when people play D2 or GW with the live chat thingee do they get into character??? I think I like the idea of sticking to the typing of commentary.

I think I would have much preferred that movie without the overtones of homoeroticism in it. I felt that was a bit trite; I mean, it was really funny enough without it - and I think it just detracted from the characters. I mean, "Wtf, mate?"
