IMO, you're gonna be hard-pressed to get a taker with your trade list. Usually those ammy's go for 3+ EU's. Good luck.

cool, does the level of EU matter - should i be looking for IK armor here? or is that just a rough guideline as to the caliber of s&%^ we're talking here?

also, where should I look for this item? I'm currently in the arcane sanctuary, A2 hell. do I need to wait and just run meph?

Yep. That's about correct!

According to ATMA's drop calculator, the best 3 for finding Tal's Ammy are Hell Duriel, Hell Andy, and NM Duriel (aside from 1st kill probabilities).

Personally though, I agree with LynKyle and recommend that you try running Hell Meph instead - since you're much more likely to get some nice items that you could trade for the ammy, and maybe you'll get really lucky along the way an pick up an Azurewrath, eth. Reaper's Toll, or something else that kicks butt.
